WHAT TO STOCK AT HOME AND WHERE TO START
In this episode, we dive into natural treatments for common illnesses, how to begin swapping pharmaceuticals for natural options, and what’s truly worth keeping stocked at home. Our goal is not perfection—but progress. Even small changes can make a big difference in supporting your body naturally.
We also understand how overwhelming it can feel to “do all the things.” That’s why we focused on multi-use remedies, practical guidance, and a realistic starter pack you can build over time—many items are inexpensive and easy to find locally.

HOW TO THINK ABOUT NATURAL REMEDIES
Many natural remedies:
* Support the body’s own healing systems
* Work across multiple illnesses, not just one
* Can be used preventatively and reactively
* Take consistency, patience, and listening to your body
You do not need to buy everything at once. Start small. Build slowly. Learn as you go.

1 (4) fresh lemon, 3-5 (16) garlic cloves, 1T (4T) raw honey, 1/2T (2T) ginger (fresh & grated), 1/8t (1/2t) cayenne powder, 1/8t (1/2t) turmeric, 1c (4c) water. As Jan suggested; I quadrupled the recipe (which is what’s shown in parentheses) and then mixed everything in my blender on medium for a few mins. My husband and I are starting out taking 1-2oz a day but my son is a little less than 1oz to start. While I enjoy the taste of it, it is a bit potent for all of us!I’ll be honest, this does take some time. So I highly recommend quadrupling the recipe!
