南洋放送局Nanyang Radio Podcast

本集節目將由主持人Robin延續上一集節目中對「跨境旅行」的討論，與來賓Caroline討論跨境旅行者所面臨的種種困難，以及女性跨境旅行者如何破除傳統社會的性別窠臼，追求自己的夢想。Caroline也是一名成功的線上健身課程創辦人，在節目尾聲她將帶來最新一堂的線上健身課程精選，與節目聽眾分享。

「Travel Weekend」是1960年代風靡於歐洲跨境旅行者社群的廣播節目，最早穿插在荷蘭的電台正式節目節目間播放。原本僅播送第一代跨境旅行者家鄉的傳統歌謠，後來逐漸演變成社群聯絡及資訊交流的平台，除了歌曲放送外，也出現短講、旅遊服務廣告等內容。因聽眾反應良好，該節目被其他地區的廣播電台仿效，1980年代時，法國、德國、澳洲、古巴等地已有以當地語言播出的版本。1989年美國西岸的電台嘗試在原本節目中加入與嘉賓對談的部份，正式設置節目主持並在周末晚間播出，節目亦更名為：「Travel Weekend, Tonight」。目前所有的「Travel Weekend」節目系列當中，以英語作為主要播送語言的「Travel Weekend, Tonight」最為人所熟知，該節目也在網路電台上播放。2008年以前，台灣曾經是跨境旅行者的中轉站之一，這次「Travel Weekend, Tonight」將與南洋放送局合作播出三集，並商請藝術家李奎壁複刻過去與「Travel Weekend」合作推出的旅遊廣告海報作為節目封面。（本集是「跨境旅行公司」與「南洋放送局」的特別合作；亦為文化台灣基金會SEA plateaus平台支持的「雙生群島：2021『群島資料庫』駐站計畫」的成果發表之一。/ Sound production: Liu Zhu-Chi; music: UDAAN; recording: T. In this time, host Robin will continue the discussion about transborder travel and focus on the problem which transborderer face with guests Caroline. They will have a talk about how women break gender stereotypes in traditional society and pursue their dreams. Caroline is also the CEO and founder of her own online fitness and home workout company, she will share a part of her newest online class with the audience at the end of the show.

“Travel Weekend” is a radio show from the 1960s that was popular among transborderer communities in Europe. The show was broadcast intermittently among Dutch radio programs and was at first known for broadcasting traditional music and songs from the hometowns of the first-generation transborderers. Later, it gradually evolved into a platform of communal communication and information exchange, not only broadcasting music and songs but also providing short talks and ads of travel services. Well-received among the audience, other regional radio stations copied the show one after another. In the 1980s, France, Germany, Australia, Cuba and so on all had versions of the show in local languages. In 1989, radio stations on the West Coast of the U.S. incorporated talks with guests in the show and started using show hosts. The show was broadcast in evenings during weekends, and was officially renamed “Travel Weekend, Tonight.” Among all the “Travel Weekend” program series, “Travel Weekend, Tonight” that is mainly broadcast in English is the most well-known version and is also available online. Before 2008, Taiwan served as a layover stop for transborderers. This time, “Travel Weekend, Tonight” will collaborate with Nanyang Radio Podcast to present three episodes and invite LI Kuei-Pi – an artist currently based in Taiwan – to remake the ad poster of travel services originally created for “Travel Weekend” to be used as the cover of the show. In this time, host Robin will introduce what is the transborder travel with an account manager in the travel department at TransBorder, Tom. 近幾年孟加拉的藝文場景愈漸蓬勃，國內、外策展人活動和資助者崛起，藝術家的努力些微刺激了牛步政府。但當所有的「非必需」都被迫停擺，令人倦怠地反覆封城，人們從疫情初期的失語，到回歸日常的身心調適；世界的多重再度共存勢在必行。作為來自另一國度的女性，除了面對國際與日常政治的各種不便（這樣做OOO那樣做XXX），如何才不會太失去此處和另一世界的奇異點？本集節目為2021年9月30日打開-當代藝術工作站舉辦的「豚跳孟加拉：關於藝術與異國生活的筆記」見面會錄音，邀請藝術工作者鄭惠文分享在孟加拉一年以來的家居與藝文場景實錄。她也將以滑板作為某種行動者的隱喻，為疫情期間的常規與例外留下證詞。(本集為財團法人國家文化藝術金會贊助之「『傳送門』計劃：疫病、移工、原鄉、全球南方」系列活動 / Moderator: Yao Jui-lan; guest: Fiona Cheng; recorded and hosted by OCAC)

在連續兩集的「南洋放送局」中，代班主持人陳韋綸（Willy）為聽眾專訪於COVID-19疫情期間，發起與印尼聲音藝術家RAMA合作團體SUNDIALLL的「聲音旅行者」LICA；她從喜歡聲音與音樂、噪音，乃至接觸到噪音的噪音和實驗音樂場景，如Revolver、失聲祭、先行一車⋯等。直到2019年，她為了參與印尼日惹的音樂節而開始準備，並在這趟旅程中走遍爪哇各地的創作場景，認識了許多同樣從事聲音創作的夥伴。返台後發行首張個人卡帶專輯：「ReveRse」。（本集為財團法人國家文化藝術金會贊助之「『傳送門』計劃：疫病、移工、原鄉、全球南方」系列活動 / Moderator: 陳韋綸; Special guest & music: Lica; recorded by Lica）

劉仁凱是視覺藝術家與獨立策展人，創作與研究反映其在日常所觀察到的信仰狀態，他學習特定物件之於研究主題 / 對象的意義及符碼，以將其轉為作品裡的視覺符號敘事，帶出宗教信仰、傳染疾病、集體價值觀等人類社會議題之討論。他是2019年台北當代藝術館「瘟疫的慢性處方」展覽策劃人，而在全國面臨Covid-19第二波疫情的三級警戒下，比較Covid-19和HIV作為新興病原體，在公衛防治策略下的特定位階與排除特定群體的恐懼，「對於疾病的軍事化」用詞如何在文化裡傳遞關於疾病的隱喻，助長對於移工（武漢肺炎）或男同志（愛滋）作為高風險族群的印象？本集也透過詩人藝術家Brad Walrond在「瘟疫的慢性處方」朗誦詩作〈骨肉兄弟：原住民〉的第11、12、13章來反思疫病與社會的關係。（本集為「『傳送門』計劃：疫病、移工、原鄉、全球南方」系列／Recorded by Chen Chia-Jen）
