Nannie Doss was a plump, spectacle-wearing grandmother whose favorite pastimes included reading romance magazines and poisoning relatives. She would become known by many monikers — The Giggling Nanny, The Giggling Granny, The Jolly Black Widow, and The Lonely Heart Killer to name a few. It wouldn’t matter how many nicknames this poison-packin' mama accumulated, the bodies she left in her wake of destruction as she searched for true love and romance would earn her a life sentence behind bars.
