Mercedes provides unique and fantastic insight into race in the profession and her own interactions with it. We discuss inclusivity in the profession and how it is so important in the profession. We also discuss Mercedes’s journey through her PhD program. We discussed why going the PhD route was right for her compared to a DAT option.
