Kyle Meredith sat down with Natti Natasha to dive into her latest album, Natti Natasha en Amargue, which marks a return to her roots and a deep embrace of Bachata. Listen now.
Produced and written by none other than Romeo Santos, the king of Bachata himself, the album is a passionate exploration of love, heartbreak, and cultural pride. “This is definitely a moment of just being very close to the fans, embracing the Dominican Republic, embracing Latinos,” Natasha shared.
Collaborating with Santos was a dream come true. “I used to listen to Romeo while growing up in the Dominican Republic,” she recalled. “To now sit in the studio with him, watching him create — it’s surreal.” But despite the big names and genre shifts throughout her career, Natasha insists on one constant: “No matter the style — whether it’s Bachata, R&B, or reggaeton — you’ll always get Natti Natasha. That’s my stamp.”
