Neometals (NMT) - High-Grade Nickel & Palladium Project Advances

Listen Later

Neometals is an innovative project developer based in Western Australia looking to develop projects for commodities that are exposed to the EV thematic and the energy storage megatrend. The company is developing a Lithium-Ion battery recycling business in Europe which aims to be the largest in Europe. They are developing a Vanadium recovery project and have interests in Lithium, Titanium, Vanadium and Nickel. The provision of these materials to the market will help to speed up the decarbonisation of the supply chain.

Neometals develops opportunities in minerals and advanced materials essential for a sustainable future. The strategy revolves around de-risking and developing long life projects with strong partners and integrating down the value chain to increase margins and return value to shareholders.

Irrespective of the project, Neometals adopts a consistent approach to making the complex simple by developing an ecosystem of expertise to deliver cash flow. Neometals has three core projects at advanced stages of evaluation, plus a mineral exploration portfolio and a range of longer-term opportunities.

Their core, wholly-owned projects include the Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling Project, the Lithium Refinery Project and their Barrambie Titanium and Vanadium Project (WA). Exploration and long-term projects include Mt Edwards lithium and nickel exploration project (WA) and a number of mineral/material related technology developments.

The Neometals share price has increased recently as the story starts to get recognised like a lot of other EV themed companies. It is starting to get really interesting for Neometals shareholders as they can now see the commercialisation of the projects. Moving forward, there will be lots of feasibility studies which will act as a catalyst for further increase in the share price and add value to the company. Out of the 5 projects, 4 of them will reach investment decisions within the next 18-24 months.

Neometals has shown they are able to move the projects forward at a pace, commercialise them and then get some revenue flowing. The share price is moving as people start to understand the Neometals story. The company wants to identify the trends and build the value with the drill bit commercially and then plans to bring in strategic partners to commercialise the projects they are unable to achieve on their own.
