Jillian Bolanz is an intuitive life coach who helps women achieve a deep connection to their inner truth by living in alignment with the seasons and sabbats, the moon cycle, and divine feminine embodiment, so they can live their life in flow, not force. 

This was a fascinating and empowering conversation about cyclicality, motherhood, witches, and archetypes. Turns out that I am a wise wild woman archetype (somewhere between being a mother and being a crone) so it makes sense that I would focus on pleasure and play at this time in my life! And Jillian is a mother goddess and witch! Yes, let's expand our understanding of the word "witch" and "crone" and tap into our greater wisdom. 

While all of this may seem unusual or even "new agey", we are actually talking about ancient practices and celebrations long forgotten. So, really, it's like coming home to ourselves and womanhood in the most sacred of ways. I felt deeply rooted in this conversation and think Jillian will open your eyes to a part of you (your "true you") that has been waiting to be revealed and healed.

Judy is the author of "Bridge of Hope", an international speaker, and a dancing mindfulness facilitator. With her Masters in Business Administration, she also teaches Economics and Finance....but don't let that fool you, as it did me (math and I don't get along). Judy can talk money, trauma, duality, and sports in the same breath. She lights up with pleasure when we talk about vulnerability as much as she lights up when we talk about statistics. She is my favorite type of client and friend-someone willing to unpack all the shit, then repack it over and over, always remaining open to new possibilities and opportunities. 
"Both, AND" is one of her favorite phrases. More of all of it, please, the pain and the pleasure, so we know we are fully living. 

For someone who loves the certainty of math, Judy gracefully dives into the unknown. She constantly surprises me with her humble presentation and fierce determination to heal and learn. She is a paradox, a teacher by day and a drum playing basketball player by night. She will inspire you to lay it all on the line, listen to your knowing, fight for what you believe, charge what you are worth, be CURIOUS before you criticize (yourself and others), and find pleasure in numbers (I'm working on it:)

The pleasure revolution is alive and well! 
Where are you on the "aliveness" scale? 
Even if you are moving through grief, trauma, or homeschooling, you are very much alive and present to your human experience. But can we create room for PLEASURE, even on difficult days?  You bet! 
We need to move from victimhood to pleasurehood (yes, I made up that word as a combination of pleasure and motherhood) and take our power back! 

Sophie Luxton is the creator of the SPIRITUAL STRIPTEASE and has declared herself the Mistress of Epic Self Care. She breaks the "good wife" and "good mother" rules and encourages women to ask for what they want. Yes, please! 

Sophie and I honor the fact that we are still in the midst of a pandemic and online learning. We recognize that life is hard right now AND we want to remind you of the pleasure practices that work, even on the shitty days. It's fascinating how simple or elaborate (your choice!) these practices can be. 

Pasha shares a vulnerable story about how using the "good guest toilet paper" was the bravest thing she did to access pleasure one day. We have to set the intention to find pleasure and feel worthy of receiving it. 

Sophie shares how she "used to" have a juicy, fun, and creative life and now, surrounded by laundry and dishes, she realizes how important it is to orientate ourselves to pleasure. When we do, we escape from victimhood mentality and step into our power.

Sophie desires an environment where a woman becomes  highly trained to know what she likes AND what she doesn't like. It is so powerful and sexy to see a woman give an empowered yes or an empowered no. 

The spiritual striptease that Sophie created uses clothing and the removal of clothing as a way of soulful expression. This practice is about a woman feeling pleasure in her own skin for herself and often by herself. She even got me to practice a little striptease (you'll have to watch on youtube to see it:), which was a huge challenge for me, but she held space for my anxieties beautifully. Her invitation to express our sensuality through movement and alchemize difficult emotions, such as rage, sounds liberating and perfect for this time.

Laura Zam, the author of "The Pleasure Plan", is a trauma professional and pleasure warrior.
The daughter of a Holocaust survivor, Laura feels the responsibility to live a full life of purpose and pleasure, in honor of those who's lives were taken from them. She married at 46, after 3 decades of searching for love and healing from past trauma and sexual abuse. She relentlessly sought out healing professionals and tried 30 different healing modalities, including an interactive masturbation workshop with the one and only pleasure educator, Betty Dodson, which she describes in exquisite detail. Her journey is a soulful and sexual one that will inspire you to seek your unique path to pleasure. 

Laura talks about her experience with "goddess crones", wisdom filled women, who heal the parts of the body that have been harmed by others with their feminine energy. She inspires women to reconnect to themselves and reclaim their power and desire through her book, The Pleasure Plan and her program, The Libido Lab.

Holly Hartman is the best selling author of "I AM: How to Release the Shame of Narcissistic Abuse",  a Life Transformation and Recovery Coach, Domestic Violence Advocate, and Podcaster. 

She and I talk about the importance of solo dating, having an affair with yourself, whether you are single or in partnership. Solo dating is an act of self discovery and act of heroic self love. 

Like me, Holly learned to love herself from a grief place.  Our pain is our purpose. 
Her catalyst moment was the experience of domestic violence. 
She explains her journey to self validation and empowerment and how she intentionally and unapologetically began solo dating.

Samantha Ramsdell is a friend and a brilliant comedian/performer, recently seen on the Ellen show and followed by over 1 million Tik Tok fans. She was named "One of the top 5 internet comedians to follow" and, get this, her hometown is MAINE! But what I admire most about Sam is NOT the enormous mouth that made her rich and famous, but her enormous heart. The woman behind the mouth, who was bullied because of her mouth, that turned her greatest pain into her greatest asset. She took back her power-bravely and beautifully. 

Samantha and I are kindred spirits, aligned in our purpose to bring healing through the performing arts. Her talents expands FAR beyond what she can fit in her extra large mouth. 
Now doing live comedy shows and working up to a one-woman musical comedy variety show, Samantha is on a path of self discovery and empowerment. 
For years, she followed a more "typical" path to business school, but was feeling more depressed and less aligned as time went on. She began to practice yoga and energy work and was listening to the advice of well-meaning friends and family.  Her ego and intuition were battling each other every day. Finally, at 28, she began to tune in to her own inner voice and knowing, the one that told her to sing! And she hasn't stopped since, and thank goodness, because this woman can SING! Yes, she sings at the end of the episode.
