Lori Varsames, Personal and Professional Coach, lives a life of pleasure and adventure in Sonoma, CA. Meredith Richardson, whose story was featured in Newsweek, is a midlife empowerment coach who used to work as a mediator. She talks about her catalyst moment, a terrifying attack and attempted kidnapping, and how she was able to bring her attacker to justice. What didn’t we talk about? We both have ADHD superpowers, after all.

Kirsten believes that play is the best non-medication intervention for people with ADHD and I whole-heartedly agree!

“STAND TALL, TITS OUT”

Rachelle Ugalde, host of “Real Talk” podcast, Life and Success Coach, and mother of 3 joins me for a whole-hearted conversation about vulnerability, visibility, and body shame.

Rachelle bravely tells the story of her struggle with anxiety and depression, including fears of losing her mind. At her moment of deepest despair, she reached out to her husband and asked for help.

She reminds us that no matter how gorgeous we are or how “perfect” our life appears, we can still be struggling and we must ask for help and find ways to share our stories of truth.

“The older I get, the less shits I give. It is such an inner job”” is one of my favorite quotes from this episode. And yet, body shame still haunts her.

Rachelle is a goddess and yet, at 5’9 and full of curves, she still plays small and tries to shrink to “fit in” or feel “more feminine”. She accepted a challenge to embrace her size and stand tall with tits out at an upcoming retreat and every day after. I have no doubt she will conquer those limiting beliefs and come to a place of deeper self-love and liberation!

I begin this episode by courageously reading from my personal diary about the day Libby inspired me to release years of body shame. We talk about the impact of one woman’s self approval and how a simple act of brave visibility can liberate many. We laugh about how alike we are in finding pleasure in things that both thrill and terrify us.

“We teach best what we need most”, says Libby, who works in feminine leadership, and is working on becoming certified as an erotic blueprint coach and Jedi Sex Master. She has a superpower of being present in intuition and “dropping right into people and seeing the real story”. Libby brings pleasure, sensuality, and flirtiness into her work and empowers other women to do the same. We spend some time crushing and swooning over our coaches Megan Jo Wilson (Rockstar Camp) and Mama Gena (School for Womanly Arts) and honor their work.

Libby is a highly accomplished independent consultant in the global online business world with Arbonne and her passion is to strengthen the lives of women in her local community and beyond. Raised in a quintessential Maine coastal town, Libby always did “whatever it took” to make a living and get the job done. Before a career in social marketing, she did everything from manual labor to freelance writing. A brief stint in a toxic, patriarchal, corporate work environment propelled Libby to pursue an MS in Clinical Psychology which ultimately led to her work in feminist leadership development with like-minded, independent and irreverent women.
