On January 17, 2025, Iran and Russia signed one of the most consequential treaties for West Asia in the past 200 years. The "Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" is a game changer in much more than just the military sense. It sets the stage for a new era of civilisational cooperation and erects a fire-wall against the diabolic strategy of US/NATO/Israel to plunge even more nations into utter chaos.Today I'm talking to Dr. Pietro Shakarian from St. Petersburg’s Higher School of Economics, one of Russia’s most prestigious universities. Speaking fluently Armenian, Russian and English, Pietro is a historian of Russia and the Soviet Union, with a PhD from Ohio State University. He recently wrote a most detailed analysis of the new Russo-Iranian strategic partnership treaty, which is what we want to discuss today, so Pietro, welcome.Dr. Shakarian's analysis of the Russia-Iran Strategic Partnership treaty: https://usrussiaaccord.org/acura-excl...

Yet another voice that corroborates not only the sabotage of the Istanbul peace agreements, but exposes the long history of the West's refusal to negotiate a comprehensive peace architecture in Eurasia with Russia. Ambassador Jean-Daniel Ruch retired last year from Switzerland’s Diplomatic Service and recently published a very insightful book with the title “Crimes, Hate, Tremors: From one Cold War to another, in pursuit of Peace and Justice.”Among his many postings, Ambassador Ruch worked at the OSCE and as Special Envoy for the Middle East in Berne before he was appointed Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro (2012), to Israel (2016), and to Türkiye (2021-2023). Last year he was nominated to become the head of the brand new State Secretariat for Security Policy, but a blackmailing campaign prevented him from picking up on that post.

After Ukraine, what's next? Iran? Likely, but also in the Nordics an insane level of preparations is underway to ready the populations of Finland, Sweden, and Norway for a war with Russia. Wasn't the alliance supposed to keep that from happening? So why is Finnish media full of articles predicting war and instructing the population how to act? My guest today is Professor Tuomas Malinen an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Helsinki and the CEO and the Chief Economist of GnS Economics, a macroeconomic consultancy firm. There are historical and scientific explanations for the unending European obsession with demonizing Russia. My guest, Professor Glenn Diesen, has worked out and described many of them in great detail. Here is a short talk with him, based on a recent article he wrote on substack: "The Science of Anti-Russian Propaganda" https://glenndiesen.substack.com/p/th...

The Warfare in West Asia is anything but over, despite the proclamations of Western Media that "democracy" is now coming to Syria. Israel's strategic long-term position just changed dramatically and over-extending itself now while making new enemies will only create more trouble in the long-run.

US neocons have had Iran on their regime change and war planning list for 50 years. Now they are in the final preparation for the great push to make war all but inevitable for the incoming Trump administration. The warmongers are working in over-drive

[2 of 2] The West's visceral hate for all things Russian is leading the US and Europe into dangerous and self-defeating foreign policies from which they will not be able to recover unless a fundamental rethinking of Eurasian policies takes place.
[1 of 2] The Jihadist take-over of Syria is first and foremost a tragedy for the people of Syria who might be in for the fate of Libya. But for Russia this is an entirely different thing. Unlike Washington, Moscow does not try to over-extend and fight for 20 years for a lost cause. Rather, it lets its enemies saw the seeds of their own future defeat. If one thing is clear by now, it's that Al-Qaeda-run governments always come back to hunt the USA.
Update on Syria and the geopolitics of West Asia with Ambassador Chas Freeman.
In some circles, it has become common place to view BRICS as an anti-western alliance. But that is not the nature of this club. BRICS is non-western, not anti-western. And that's the fundament on which its cooperative power is built. Listen to Professor Anuradha Chenoy explain the fundamental difference as well as the pillars of the new financial system the group is working on.
