It's that time of year again. No, not the holidays. I mean, yes it's that too, but that's not what we're talking about. It's video game award season, and Keith and Jesse are discussing the hits and misses of 2019. Jimmy Kimmel is hosting! He's not, but it feels like he would, right?

Keith and Jesse look back on one of their favorite PC games growing up, Worms Armageddon. You're gonna hear a lot of bad accents and worse music, but trust me, it's going to be fun. Oh and also bananas and cows.

Pick a cool looking death machine and crank some metal, because Keith and Jesse sit down to talk about the 90's mayhem that is Twisted Metal 2. Oh, and Keith's dad drops in at the end. This episode has it all!

Well, it's happened again. Keith tricked Jesse into doing another episode he wasn't prepared for. Disc 2 of FFVII? Nope. Persona 5? Wrong again. It's the Aerosmith arcade game Revolution X. Yeah, it was surprising.

A game about kids going to war and trying to get with their teacher? It must be an RPG. Keith and Jesse sit down with American Dad animator and friend of the show Aldrin Cornejo to talk about Harry Potter with more death, Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Keith and Jesse head to IndieCade 2019 to check out some games and talk with Bo Ruberg, a professor of video games. Yeah, you read that right. Professor of video games. Bet you're rethinking your career right about now, huh? Us too.

We're cracking open the vault to give you one of the first ever recorded New Player episodes. Keith and Jesse sit down with comedian and friend Oscar Montoya to talk about how sometimes alienating games are just the opposite. It's time for some Katamari Damacy.

It's the 100th episode of New Player Has Joined! Take a trip down Memory Lane with Keith and Jesse. And then make a left on Reminisce Avenue. That'll bring you to Recollection Drive. Stay on that until you see the Jiffy Lube. This episode is at the Jiffy Lube. Anyway, 100th episode!

Okay, no lies this time. Keith and Jesse sit down with friend of the podcast Brendan Lynch-Salamon to talk about Jade Empire. They actually talk about it this time. No fake outs. Well maybe a small fake out. But we swear they talk about Jade Empire.

They finally tricked him into doing an episode. Keith and Jesse by joined by... Keith! To talk about his favorite game of all time, Star Wars Galaxies. Buckle up for some secrets, some subterfuge, and some spodcasting. Also, Brendan is there!
