March 11, 2018 The Power Of One Week 01 - The Power Of One Prayer

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave

His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in

Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God loves the world... in Greek, that word is “kosmos”.

According to the internet, world population is

about...

7.456 billion...and growing daily.

A person is born about every second!!!!!!!!!

Before this message is done 2,400 babies will

be born!

Jesus came to die on the cross and be resurrected for

every person born!

God loves the world...but God loves the

(whosoever) ONE!

How men and women tick reveals this deep love and

care Jesus has for each person born.

Genesis 2:7

God creates people ONE AT A TIME.

Psalms 139:14-15

And then every person created has unique

individuality with God:

Psalm 139:16 (NLT) You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.

Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

God deals with every person one on one...

Psalms 139:17-18

Romans 3:23 (NLT) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.

When God wanted His people back, He didn’t send a committee.

He sent ONE.

Romans 5:17

God loves everybody and His will is that EVERYBODY

be with Him eternally.

Matthew 28:18-19

God reaches the world by the obedience of the one.

It’s not just Pastor Josh’s job to reach the world.

It’s not just the staff’s job.

It’s all of our jobs.

Every one of us in the church (the body).

Remember, the power of One.

The process begins with a little communication tool

called...PRAYER.

Human prayer is the trigger to

move God

QUESTION: Can 1 person praying make a difference?

God will never barge in on people. He must be

invited.

Prayer is inviting Jesus into the affairs of

life.

Matthew 9:37-38

Prayer is the communication tool of heaven to get the

job done.

1.Prayer must be done in faith.

Jesus endorsed simple prayer.

Matthew 21:22 (NKJV) "And whatever things you

ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Mark 11:24 (NKJV) "Therefore I say to you, whatever

things you ask when you pray, believe that you

receive [them,] and you will have [them.]

But you have to do it.

Romans 12:11 (NLT) Never be lazy (be diligent), but

work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.

2. Prayer changes people/prayer

changes you.

3. Prayer changes the world.

Easter is 3 weeks away.

Each One Bring One Strategy:

1. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring someone to your

mind.

2. Pray for them.

3. Invite them to come, but take it a step deeper.

4. Bring them. Have them meet you and sit with

them.

5. Buy them Easter lunch. Invest.
