If you've ever been in your own season of waiting, then you know how heart wrenching that can be on a person. If you've ever waited for something that you knew deep down was meant for you, but were surrounded by unknowns of how it was going to get to you -- then this story will hit home for you. 

In this heartfelt solo episode, I share my transformative and powerful story of adopting my son, Augustus. I've waited 7 years to be able to say those words: my SON. What an honor it is to now be able to share this story publicly to all of my loved ones and listeners.

After taking a month off from the podcast, I decided it's time to reveal the emotional and intricate journey of adoption that my husband and I went through -- from the challenges faced, the unexpected signs that led me to motherhood, meeting my son for the first time, and the many synchronicities along the way. This episode encapsulates the joy, hope, and resilience that come with my journey to motherhood through adoption. I open up about the role of mindset, manifestation, and spiritual alignment throughout this journey and how the challenges and triumphs reshaped me both personally and professionally. I share the emotional moment of when my husband and I first met our son and the transformative power of parenthood. This episode is a true testament to hope, faith, and the life-changing gift of love. 

So many listeners and loved ones have been alongside us through this journey, and I cannot say thank you enough to those of you who have reached out, who have been a constant support, who have encouraged me/us along the way --the prayers and presence has made a huge impact in our lives, and we have felt the prayers/presence so deeply! This story is so special to us, and we hope it is special for you all as well, as this is a story that has changed our lives forever.

This trip was transformative: it included a branding photoshoot and a healing retreat hosted by my business coach. I go in depth about the extensive healing I experienced from this retreat. "Fear Wants to Keep You Small"

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Next-Level You Podcast! I am OVERJOYED to be able to say that!!! This goal has been SOUL-FILLING for me from day 1 & hitting the 1 year mark feels so expansive! I hope these lessons empower you to feel more confident in the future with your own decision-making skills.

"Stop with the excuses"

Today's episode was actually a download that came to me during sound healing last week, and I left that healing session, got into my car and immediately opened the notes app on my phone and started typing all of the ideas that came to me during that hour session. I have a very personal update to share with you all in today's episode, our entrepreneur community here in Eastern Iowa lost a fellow female entrepreneur [Nicole Harvey], and I felt compelled to share with you all the reflections that have come to me since her loss. I share about the importance of community, the importance of being authentic, confidence, and sharing lessons that I learned from simply observing and getting to know Nicole in the last year that I've known her. This woman inspired so many people with her vibrant spirit and successful skincare business.
