Next of Kin The Podcast is back with season 2!

Welcome to episode 28, the season 1 finale of Next of Kin Parents Podcast!

I'm Emma, a British Expat, and Mum of 1, living in Dubai, UAE, and this podcast follows along my own journey raising my daughter and starting my first business.

On today's episode, I am rounding off my first season of the podcast by bringing you up to date on my life right now and how I am re-prioritizing my life in 2024. I have broken my goals down into work, family, and self-care as I try to find the ultimate balance, not an easy task as a Mumpreneur, I know!

I decided to go back to my roots for this episode by following the format of my early episodes, and today's segment will be on de-influencing 10 so-called newborn 'essentials'. My Mum-llema for the week is for you to let me know what you bought for your newborn, thinking it was essential, but it really wasn't. Check out my blog for more info.

Welcome to episode 27 of Next of Kin Parents Podcast! I'm Emma, a British Expat, and Mum of 1, living in Dubai, UAE, and this podcast follows along my own journey raising my daughter and starting my first business.

I am so pleased to have squeezed this chat with Anushka into my penultimate episode of season 1. Anushka is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Derby Home Health and Nannies and More, but in her formed career she worked in Reproductive Health in crisis zones. But when Anushka welcomed her daughter to the world she decided to move back to Dubai to be closer to family, and this is when she set about using her background and values to set up Derby Home Health, and she quickly discovered the need for more support options for new parents so Nannies and More was created.

I was intrigued to hear what Anushka's former career entailed and how she has handled leaving that role and moving back to Dubai. I also wanted to pick Anushka's brains about all things Nannies and how Nannies and More are doing things differently.

Welcome to episode 21 of Next of Kin Parents Podcast! I'm Emma, a British Expat, and Mum of 1, living in Dubai, UAE, and this podcast follows along my own journey raising my daughter and starting my first business.

I am so pleased to be joined on this episode by Natalie Robinson, who has a number of photography-based businesses here in Dubai, including Wild Child which is where I met Natalie when she photographed my very first shoot for Next of Kin baby clothes!

I asked Natalie to be on the show because she has an interesting background growing up between America, Belgium, Singapore and the UK so I wanted to find out how that influenced her as a parent to 3 children that she chose to raise in UAE.
