It’s episode 304 of the Nintendo Switch UK Podcast, and this week we’re still diving headfirst into Donkey Kong Bananza and absolutely loving it. Also in this episode: Danger Mouse is heading to Switch, but we’re still waiting for Mouse Work to get a dev kit. Pokémon’s new game launches as both free-to-play and paid, causing a bit of confusion (and some grumpiness). Borderlands 4 runs at 30fps on Switch 2, and we ask, is that good enough? EA’s latest football game makes pricing choices we didn’t expect, and Dbrand actually does the right thing after a rough product launch. Plus, some spicy Direct rumours, Turbo Mode news, and our usual tangents.

Join us for the usual mix of gaming chaos, questionable takes, and heartfelt community thanks.

We’ve hit 300 episodes of the Nintendo Switch UK Podcast, and we’ve pulled out all the stops for this one!

For the very first time, Mike, Al, and Anton are all together in person, recording from the brilliant Mearns & Gill Podcast Room. We’ve got a brand-new redesign for the show, a full look back at our time on the podcast, and we do a ‘Prequel’ segment diving into the history of the Nintendo Switch itself, from weird NX rumours to the record-breaking success story it became. Then, it’s chaos as we wrap things up with an extended, high-pressure, rapid fire quiz, and someone absolutely crumbles under the pressure.

A huge thank you to our amazing Patrons, your support has kept this show going for 300 episodes. We couldn’t do it without you. Here’s to the next 300!
