Fire up your iPod Nano - or Classic, if you had such a thing - as we turn the clock back to an era where the tunes were huge, the clubs were hopping, and... to be honest I kind of hate myself for writing that sentence. The music was REALLY GOOD, is what I'm getting at.
Ace newsman, author, podcaster, runner, and friend Richard Chambers returns to NO ENCORE HQ to keep Dave Hanratty and Sonic Architect Adam company on a beautifully nostalgic, endlessly energetic journey.
There's also room for film criticism, concert etiquette, and plenty of news. And a mention for Richard's upcoming marathon in support of Women's Aid - you can donate right here.
ACT ONE: Some fun meandering chat about the Andre 3000 album, Richard's visit to the cinema for the Taylor Swift concert movie, and his jaunt to the 3Arena for an intriguing Belters Only experience.
ACT TWO (15:34): News! Hall & Oates are out of touch, Formula 1 gets another superstar boost, Kid Rock and Donald Trump join forces, and Christmas songs make their early mark. Bonus - Dave and Richard review The Killer and its musical component parts.
ACT THREE (42:48): Top 5 Pop Bangers of the Late 2000s.

Nostalgia is a funny thing, dear listener, in that it's really quite an intimately individual feeling and thus your definition of a nostalgic soundtrack will likely differ from ours but you should nonetheless hopefully enjoy our wistful main event this week.
Dave Hanratty and Sonic Architect Adam are joined by the brilliant Naoise Roo, who has just released her excellent new album Emotionally Magnificent. Listen to it immediately and often.
The record- and its thematically perfect title - are up for discussion before we hit our famous news section and then reckon with the best movie soundtracks of our wayward teenage years.
ACT ONE: Naoise Roo in conversation.
ACT TWO (32:46): Andre 3000 is back in eyebrow-raising instrumental form and thus we simply must explore his filmography, Robbie Williams reveals the biggest regret of his career, Taylor Swift asks you to keep your gifts at arm's length, and Dave's beloved Slipknot upset the fan base again - it's the news.
ACT THREE (1:02:50): Top 5 Movie Soundtracks That Fuel Our Nostalgic Brains.

It's Sophomore SZN for NO ENCORE as emotive Dublin rapper Nealo returns to the studio to give us a taste of November Medicine, his long-awaited new record which releases on Friday, 17 November.
Nealo is also on-hand to provide us with a guide to the very best Irish hip-hop as part of this week's main event. Before that, we have plenty of wild and exciting news from the world of music, and an in-depth conversation on how Nealo came to construct his not-so-difficult second album.
ACT ONE: Nealo talks November Medicine, his process, his personal life and more.
ACT TWO (30:04): Machine Gun Kelly (MGK to his friends) invades Adam's beloved world of Formula 1, David Guetta swears he is 4 Real, Fightstar make their glorious return, and Paul McCartney explodes and fucking dies?!

NO ENCORE welcomes back a prodigal son this week as the glorious booming tones of Colm O'Regan return to the hallowed co-host microphone.
Dave Hanratty and Sonic Architect Adam strap in for a Colm-selected Top 5; one that deals in unavoidable finality yet soars in triumphant legacy.
Before that, a stacked news section considers the implications of mixing the World's Favourite Band Ever with AI, and a wildly unexpected yet thoroughly welcome music-and-movies collision.
ACT ONE (2:17): The Beatles are back, baby! Kinda. This week's headlines also find room for Kneecap and their Michael Fassbender-shaped cinematic jaunt, Dave's much-missed Ozzfest days, the merits and morals of prison memorabilia, and more.
ACT TWO (31:18): Top 5 Final Albums.

Before The ENCORE returns with season 2's sophomore offering in the form of Wexford's finest Alex O'Keeffe.
Alex is a producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and I have the great fortune of saying he is also a close collaborator of mine across several projects. While Alex's career as a producer is relatively recent, only going back a couple of years, his vast discography is all-the-more impressive for it sporting names such as Bobbi Arlo, Fia Moon, Sistra, Maria Petrisor, Melina Malone, Rushes and many many more.
We dive head-first into our old recording techniques from our teens to music education and its importance and to "legends of the game" in this one that we recorded a while back. I hope you enjoy!
Before The ENCORE will return on the last Monday of every month, so catch us again in November.

In which David Tapley takes a stroll to the NO ENCORE studio. There is, in fact, a new sheriff in town, and he's here to lay down the law on a certain plucky quartet from Dublin. Dave Hanratty is also present to rain down even harder blows on everyone's favourite spherical enthusiasts.
On the agenda this week - the brand new album from Tandem Felix, and everything you ever wanted or needed to know about Bono and his U2 brethren. It's time to assess the greatest and the most disastrous of the U2 canon, with a Tapley-shaped twist to boot.
There's a New Sheriff in Town by Tandem Felix is out now, so pick up the vinyl and book a ticket to an upcoming gig. All details on the episode and via the handy links below.

Tonight we're all going to be Rock and Roll Stars - it's time to finally put Oasis under the microscope, for better and for much, much worse.
The glorious Hugh Carr returns to NO ENCORE HQ for all kinds of frivolity - he picked this Top 5 and he's damn-well going to defend this band to the hilt, despite Dave Hanratty's repeated misgivings.
ACT ONE (5:30): Ed Sheeran confirms a morbid rumour, Bono goes on a ramble, professional wrestling once again gets a mention, Creed do a Taylor Swift, and Oasis set us up nicely for our main event.
ACT TWO (31:08): Top 5 Oasis Songs (Best & Worst)

Come one, come all, to the greatest rap battle of the 21st century - Rudi Kinsella finally making his NO ENCORE debut!
It's less of a battle & more of a friendly chat with old friends. Sonic Architect Adam is our referee, though, should we need him. So strap in for the greatest and, let's be fair, one or two ridiculous examples of the humble musical smackdown of choice; the diss track.
ACT ONE (5:09): The Tories have spoken and their favourite musical act has been revealed, Taylor Swift and the NFL's union rolls on, a great Robbie Williams track remembered, Matty Healy apologises again, and a bizarre tale that proves that life is not so "easy" after all.
ACT TWO (35:08): Rock the mic, TOP 5 DISS TRACKS.
