Host Ryan Wrecker went thrift shopping and bought a painting of a dog in a suit.  He says it is interesting because of whatever backstory you create.  Next, Ryan talks about University teachers potentially carrying guns while working.  We took your calls and it you had mixed reactions.

North Korea is being a bit over-dramatic with their cheerleaders at the Olympics and not everyone is happy about it.  Host Ryan Wrecker calls it a distraction from the way they treat their citizens. After that, Ryan shares a story of a church that spent over $700 on food from Outback Steakhouse, the employee who brought the food out to their car got upset over not being tipped and posted about it online.  The employee was fired.  Next, we visit South Korea where Ryan gives us an update on medal standings, dog meat being sold there, and more.  After that, Ryan shares his thoughts on drones and says people do violate privacy when using them to spy in yards or in windows.  Ryan then rounds out the hour with a discussion on foods that you ate as a kid that you know realize you ate because you were poor. 

Each morning we utilize this hour to share something positive and uplifting.  This morning we hear from a listener who just got back into town after visiting his son who just bought a home for the first time.  Next, we hear from a listener who called in to share his story of helping a Somalian immigrant, new to truck driving, with parking their vehicle.  After that, Ryan shares Kevin Killeen’s story that Eat Rite Diner will be returning under new ownership and it will be back with all the things you remember.  After that, a listener called into share their love for KMOX.  Then, Ryan shares some quick stories about positive stories.  Following that, we visit with Dr. Ron as he continues to recuperate following a major illness.  Rounding out the hour, Ryan talks about a recent study on highway safety from a state-by-state basis.  He says Saint Louis area drivers are horrible at paying attention while driving. 

Over the weekend, several media outlets report seeing anti-aircraft missile defense systems being moved to the northern part of Israel.  Host Ryan Wrecker says they are preparing for war.  Ryan then says do not be fooled by North Korea’s cheerleaders at the Olympics.  After that, Ryan shares a report from the New York Times saying CNN and NBC are being creepy with their seeming admiration over North Korea at the Olympics.  Ryan says this is a bad deal; the U.S. wants to privatize the International Space Station.
