Dear Johnny – I’m writing to you because my family could use some help, especially my husband, Rhyn, who is a local electrician.

A couple of weeks ago, we were woken up at 6 am by our neighbor letting us know that my husband’s work truck had been broken into.

The thieves stole all of my husband’s tools he’s acquired over the last 10 years including some of his late grandfathers. 

They didn’t just steal the tools, they really stole his ability to work.

His tools inside the truck were not insured and so he cannot go back to work until he at least acquires the basics.

We are just not in a financial situation to obtain everything he needs to get back on the job. We have a toddler and it breaks my heart that this puts us in a situation of just scraping by.

In June, I lost my job due to Covid, but I’m hoping to go back to work in January. (I work in the health care field)

After I lost my job, we made a decision to sell our family home and move in with my folks to keep our heads above water.

We’ve been getting by and are saving to get a place of our own again. But with this now happening, we are going to have to see what we can push off or postpone to get my husband back to work.

We have filed a police report and are also reaching out to local pawn shops and looking on Marketplace, but nothing has turned up. The answer we’ve received is “there’s nothing we can do.”

My husband is the hardest working person I know and this would ease a lot of stress on him. I just want to find a way to take the weight off his shoulders. I appreciate all that you guys do and thanks for reading my letter.

Lajon Witherspoon and Sevendust have never been ones the shy away from trying new things. They're always looking forward to what's coming next, always moving, never being satisfied with resting on their laurels.

We caught up with our friend Lajon  this morning to find out about the new release, their upcoming run of holiday shows and more!

We've known Richard Rawlings since hitting it big with his Discovery series, "Fast n Loud"...which is why we were pleasantly surprised when we found out that he had placed the winning bid at the recent Bonham's auction to win the iconic 1949 Triumph Trophy 500 motorcycle that Fonzie rode on the long running series, Happy Days.
And what made the whole story hit even closer to home was his reason for buying it...to honor his father who is suffering from Alzheimer's, and who used to watch Happy Days with Richard when he was a kid.
It was a bittersweet win.
We talked to Richard, who was recovering from his company Christmas party (sorry!) all about it!

Dear Johnny –

I’m writing you this letter because we have recently had a lot of sadness over the last few months.

The day after Thanksgiving our daughter, Paige (24), suddenly passed away after a ruptured appendix.

My husband, who is a truck driver, missed some time from work and we had to come up with the funds for a cremation and funeral.

We live with my elderly parents to help take care of them day to day, but after a battle with COPD and hospice coming in my father passed away last Monday.

We are still caring for my mom (81), but my husband missed more time at work and we are out of pocket again for a funeral/cremation. We have fallen behind on several bills and all of this right before the holidays.

We have a 7 year old son that will be looking for Christmas presents from Santa and it’s just so hard to find the funds with everything that’s happened.

We’ve haven’t seen Bryan since we had to interview him downstairs from our studio in the “Garage Mahal” during the Great Covid Lockdown 2020…and, man, did we have a lot of catching up to do!!
