When you decide to break into someone's house, you are always going to take the chance of it not ending quite not you wanted....ESPECIALLY when the house you happen to break into belongs to pro-wrestling legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan...and HE happens to be holding a loaded .44 Magnum!!!
My guess is that pants shitting ensued.
We got Hacksaw on the phone this morning to find out all about it!!

We first met comedian Carlos Mencia right as his career was set to take off...then we watched as he landed his own Comedy Central show, starred in his own award winning comedy specials, and appeared in movies like "The Heartbreak Kid"!!
And since he's rolling back in to KC in a few weeks to perform 3 nights at The Comedy Club of Kansas City, we knew it was time to catch up!!
And we quickly found that he's still primed and ready to offend everyone who needs offending!!

KC native and Friend of the Show, Rudy Reyes rose from a troubled childhood that landed him and his brothers in the Omaha Home for Boys to, in 1998, In 1998, joining the USMC and was ultimately serving in Afghanistan and Iraq as part of the 1st Battalion Recon...eventually being part of the book and HBO mini-series, "Generation Kill"...and that is just scratching the surface of his story!

And now he's part of the new FOX reality series, "Special Forces: World Toughest Test"...and he gave us a call this morning to tell us all about that and the myriad of other things he has going on!!

Dear Johnny,
My name is Melanie and I am writing because we are desperate for help this holiday.
The company my husband, Scott, was working for went bankrupt in November and they had to let all of their employees go. We didn’t have any warning this was going to happen and we have 3 children. A son age 13, a daughter age 11, and a son age 6.

It’s a rough time of the year and we are really struggling to pay bills. My husband is a computer tech and has been doing all the freelance work he can to keep us caught up.

Our furnace went out so we have shut our gas off. We live in a mobile home community and it has been really cold in the house and with winter here it’s only going to get colder. We are relying on jackets, blankets and space heaters to keep us warm which is making our electric bill very expensive and I’m worried it will end up shut off as well. I just feel like crying and I don’t know what to do. We are truly at a loss and could sincerely some help. My husband starts a new job at the first of the year and I just want to give my kids a warm home for Christmas. Thank you for time and consideration.

But this morning, while talking to us on the phone, he did battle with his most formidable opponent yet...his 3 1/2 year old daughter! 

And honestly...I think she can take him.

Dear Johnny,
My name is James and I have a full time job in waste management. I’ve been a driver for 17 yrs. My wife works part time and our kids are all grown.

On Sunday December 11th I didn’t feel good and my chest felt really heavy. My wife called 911 and an ambulance arrived. It turns out I was having a major heart attack, and I’d just turned 50 years old.

It was so unexpected and it will put me out of a job for a few months until I get
released by the doctors. My wife and I are worried because we always struggle to get
ends met but we always find a way. Now with being out of work I’m worried about the
mortgage and keeping up on other bills.

I have to say I’m so scared this was something I never planned for. I want to get back to work because I just don’t want to feel like I’m letting anyone down.

As the year winds down, it was great this morning to catch up with our good friend, Sevendust frontman Lajon Witherspoon to see what's up in his world and wish him a happy holiday...and it's also great to find out that, despite being a Grammy nominated, platinum selling rock star...he has to deal with all of the same Christmas crap the rest of us do!!!

Dear Johnny,
My name is Sherry and I’m writing to you because my family really needs your help.
My son Josh and his wife Kayla lost everything they own in a house fire last night (12-16-22) in Cameron Missouri. Luckily no one was in the house at the time, but
tragically they did lose two of their beloved pet dogs and literally everything they
own.

They are a family of 7, with 5 children ranging from ages 2-6 years old.
Firefighters believe the fire started from a faulty outlet in the bedroom.

They are now having to start over and right before Christmas as well. Times are already hard as it is and now they really will be facing some difficulties to overcome this as a young family who puts every penny they earn into providing for their kids. Josh works so hard to support their family and for all those things they now have lost, they are beyond devastated by this.

If there’s anything you could do to help them get through this rough patch so close to the holidays, I would appreciate it beyond words. Even the bare necessities like
clothes, shoes, household items, etc. Anything you could do would be much appreciated.
