We here on the Morning Show have known Country Radio Hall of Famer (and Nycki's husband) Mike Kennedy for a very very long time.
In fact, this show owns a lot of our eventual success to the start that that Mike gave us in radio.

And that's why having Mike in today to fill in for Nycki while she's recovering from neck surgery was something we've really been looking forward to!
And, as you'll hear...we had a lot to talk about!!

Jerry “The King” Lawler is true wrestling royalty.

168 career championships, an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, as well as being the man behind the greatest work in wrestling history with his “feud” between he and comedian Andy Kauffman.

But on Sept 10th 2012, he had just finished a match and had returned to the broadcast table on the WWE Raw live broadcast when he had a near-fatal cardiac arrest.
His heart stopped for 22 minutes, paramedics hit him with the paddles 7 times…and he miraculously lived.
And this morning we talked to him about the 10th anniversary of that terrifying night.

And now he’s released a new album, The Elephants of Mars, and is heading out on a new tour!
And we got the chance to talk to the legend himself today!

The friendship between the Morning Show and comedy great Larry The Cable Guy is a long one!
We met him when he was still working clubs and calling radio stations to do his commentaries…and we’ve watched him grow to become one of the biggest selling comedians in the country…and then, if that weren’t enough, we watched his star rise even further with his work as Mater in the “Cars” movies.

And now that his new limited-run animated series, “Cars On The Road” is debuting on Disney Plus, we figured it was time to catch up with our old friend!!

Most of you know that our gal Nycki just had major neck surgery...and we know you all have been concerned about  how she's doin'...so now that she's home from the hospital and resting up, we decided to give her a call...and we had to make sure it wasn't when she was all pilled up!!
And one thing we learned? 
Bein' on the mend from a major surgery, medicated and resting has NOT dulled that little ball of hate one f**kin' bit!!!

And this story is delved into even deeper in the new Discovery Plus documentary, “The Visitors”

The doc is hosted by Melissa Tittl, who has built a career for herself with shows like “UFO Witness” and “Ancient Aliens”…and she stopped by the show this morning to tell us more!
