No Limits: The Mitch Rapp Podcast

Chris & Mike break down the first half of Protect & Defend, the 8th Mitch Rapp book by Vince Flynn. A number of storylines begin to develop - some that are rewarded with a pay-off in the second half and others that, well, just go nowhere. Though we do get to enjoy the satisfaction of Rapp eliminating one of the most annoying characters in the entire Rapp saga.

Of course, we talk Vince Flynn and Mitch Rapp, including our book of the month, Act of Treason, featuring Secret Service Agent Maria Rivera. You can find Chris and his work at CEAlbanese.com/ and on The Crew Reviews Podcast. Chris & Mike breakdown the second half of Act of Treason as Rapp takes it upon himself to chase down every lead in the investigation of who took out a hit on the presidential candidates' motorcade. A fractured CIA wants answers and considers taking Mitch in to get to the bottom of why he shot four times and apprehended a suspect without concrete evidence. With reporters being tipped off by high-level anonymous sources and public opinion easily swayed, the only important question is: Do you trust Mitch?

And now it's time for something completely different! Chris and Mike take a moment to reflect on the first NINE books covered so far on MitchRappPod. We make sure to re-adjust (and explain) our rankings of how Vince's first 7 books and Kyle's most recent 2 books hold up. We then give out SUPERLATIVES for the following categories based on these nine books: Best Villain, Best Action Scene, Best Political B-Plot, Best Setting, Best Title, and of course, Best Cover! Sometimes tough decisions have to be made!
