Who are you comparing yourself to? Instead of comparing ourselves to the world, we need to be comparing ourselves to those around us who know and love the Lord. In 1 Timothy 6, we see Paul challenge Timothy to strive for godliness as a young man.
We can learn from Paul’s example of the way he invested in Timothy’s life. We should always be learning from someone older than us. Let’s pursue Christ and surround ourselves with people we can learn from.

In this episode, Brody sits down with Rob Conti and Spencer Davis to dive deeper into the summer sessions they taught on the life of Joseph in Genesis. Here are some of their thoughts that didn’t make it into their sermons.
God was at work throughout Joseph’s life. Joseph was faithful to the Lord no matter the circumstance he was in. We hope you’re encouraged by Joseph’s life and can look to his faithfulness as an example.

Social media desensitizes us from the dangers it holds.
The companies that run social media platforms have a distinct worldview, and they’re pushing their agenda constantly. So, we need to be aware of the effect it has on our minds. In this episode, Brody sits down with Jon Rouleau and Harry McSween to discuss how social media is affecting our culture and our thoughts.
If social media is here to stay, then it’s an area of life we can engage with the Gospel. We have an opportunity as believers to redeem some areas of these media platforms. However, it’s crucial we train young people to become resilient disciples of Christ on social media—and in life.

Parents, you will one day stand before God and give an account of how you raised your children.
In today's culture, parents are voluntarily giving up their authority to be able to speak in their teenagers' lives by giving in to the power of social media. We need to recognize the damaging effect social media has on our children. In this episode, Brody sits down with Jon Rouleau to have a conversation about the triangular relationship between parents, their teenagers, and social media.
Prepare to be challenged. Let’s be vigilant and get in the fight for our kids.
