The Beaches’ Leandra Earl joins No Straight Answers for a conversation about music, queer identity, relationships, life on the road and everything in between.
Leandra gets into her experience being openly queer in one of Canada’s biggest bands, navigating dating and relationships while touring, the wild ride of The Beaches’ success, and what life actually looks like behind the scenes.
Plus, we get into queer culture, crushes, dating red flags, gay chaos and, of course, a few questions that probably shouldn’t have been asked.

Girls, I really enjoyed this conversation with the 1st ever gay man to ever be under NHL contract, Luke Prokop. Luke came out in 2021, just one year after being drafted by the Nashville Predators. Of course, I had to ask Luke about Heated Rivalry and if his teammates have watched it. I have endless respect for Luke for coming out and creating representation for gay men in hockey.
