Joined this week by Amy Tucker, founder of Salty Britches. Salty Britches is a soothing long-lasting barrier against skin irritation for any occasion. Created to withstand salt water chafing and now trusted by families, athletes and military personnel for year-round all-day protection. If you're like me and spend a lot of time in the mountains and suffer from chafing, Salty Britches will keep you in the game. Ive seen runners who have ran 100 miles while using Salty Britches and yes, zero chafing. The hope is to help keep you guys in the backcountry for as long as possible, and with salty britches you wont have to worry about a thing.
Amy and I also talk about what it was like quitting her corporate job, the hard work required to be an entrepreneur, turkey hunting, and much more. Amy has such a kind soul and positive outlook on life and it was a pleasure having her join the show!

Solo adventure this week recapping my experience running the Mid State Mile Last Man Standing Ultra Marathon in Nashville, TN. Why do I choose to run ultras? What was the training plan? What is it like living your life 20 mins at a time? Why do have to suffer? Does ultra prepare you for life? & How the ultra mindset correlates to hunting the mountains.
Back in studio with Craig Jacobson. The guys spoke about the floods in Montana, taking chances in life, the negative effects social media can have, and much more. A big message of this episode was that this is not all hunting all the time. Of course, this is a western style hunting pod. But conversations such as this one can always come back full circle and be applied to not only life in general but also the mountains.
Collin Cottrell is an individual that was brought to my attention via a mutual friend. "He's a great guy and I think he would be an awesome guest for your podcast". That all turned out to be true as you'll see. But Collin is more than just a guest on the podcast. He's now a friend. He's someone I did not know I needed in my life. He's a great mentor and also has a blue collar mindset. Collin opens up about his former life and why he made the choice to change & adapt into the person he is today. Collin is also the owner of High Caliber Hunts in Texas. This is a moving episode that you will not want to miss.
