We know perfect isn’t easy, but that’s hardly an excuse. This week we watch 1988’s Oliver & Company and grapple with one of the questions the film asks us from nearly the beginning: Why should we care? The music still slaps - despite the unused talents of Sheryl Lee Ralph - but otherwise we’re not entirely sure about the longstanding value of this Dickensian mish mosh.
