PRAYER OF ST. JOHN GABRIEL PERBOYRE, C.M.

 Lord Jesus, 

transform me into yourself. 

May my hands be your hands/ may my words be your words. 

Grant that everything I do/ may serve only to glorify you. 

I pray you to destroy in me all that is not of you. 

Keep me turned to you and grateful in all things/ 

that I may live my life in you, and by you and for you-- 

and truly say with St. Paul, 

“I live now/not I/but Christ lives in me.” 

Amen.
