No cenário internacional, as atenções se voltaram para a China com o anúncio de novos estímulos, que incluem a redução da taxa de compulsório dos bancos e a emissão de títulos do governo, visando impulsionar a atividade econômica. Na Europa, os indicadores econômicos mostram sinais de enfraquecimento, especialmente no setor de serviços na França, passado o efeito positivo dos Jogos Olímpicos. Nos EUA, os dados econômicos recentes destacam a resiliência da economia, com revisões altistas para a renda interna bruta.
No Brasil, a divulgação do relatório bimestral de avaliação de receitas e despesas gerou frustração no mercado financeiro, diante da redução do esforço fiscal, que reforçou os receios quanto à sustentabilidade das contas públicas. A ata do Copom enfatizou a necessidade de vigilância contínua em relação à inflação no país.
As bolsas asiáticas foram o grande destaque da semana, com o índice de Shanghai subindo 12,8% e o de Shenzhen 16,25%. Nos EUA, as taxas de juros de curto prazo recuaram, enquanto as de longo prazo aumentaram em até 2 pontos-base. As bolsas americanas mantiveram-se em alta, com o S&P 500 subindo 0,62% e o Nasdaq 1,1%. O Brasil também se beneficiou desse movimento, com o Ibovespa registrando um aumento de 1,27%, impulsionado especialmente pelas ações da Vale, que valorizaram mais de 11%. Além disso, o real brasileiro se apreciou em 1,4%, e o peso chileno teve uma valorização significativa de 3,5%.

No cenário internacional, ocorreram atualizações importantes, com destaque para a decisão do Federal Reserve (Fed) de reduzir a taxa de juros em 50 pontos-base. Esse movimento reflete a preocupação da autoridade monetária em mitigar os riscos de uma possível recessão. No Reino Unido, o Banco da Inglaterra (BoE) optou por manter a taxa de juros em 5%.
No Brasil, a retomada do aperto monetário pelo Banco Central (BCB), sustentada por um discurso firme, sinaliza que o ciclo total de alta dos juros deve variar entre 2,5 e 3,0 pontos percentuais. O comitê indicou que deverá acelerar o ritmo desse ajuste já na próxima reunião, considerando a atividade econômica robusta e uma inflação ainda sob pressão.
Em relação aos mercados, as taxas de juros de longo prazo nos EUA aumentaram mais do que as taxas de curto prazo. Observamos que as taxas mais curtas apresentaram poucas alterações, enquanto as taxas mais longas chegaram a subir até 10 bps. As bolsas americanas tiveram um bom desempenho, com o S&P 500 subindo 1,36%, o Nasdaq avançando 1,42% e o Russell 2000 crescendo 2,08%. No Brasil, o Ibovespa registrou uma queda de 2,83%, enquanto o real se valorizou em 0,93%.
Na próxima semana, aqui no Brasil, estaremos atentos à divulgação da Ata do Copom, ao IPCA-15 e aos dados do mercado de trabalho. No cenário internacional, acompanharemos os índices PMI e a decisão de política monetária na Austrália.

No Brasil, houve a aprovação do projeto que definiu a nova prorrogação da desoneração da folha de pagamentos. A semana foi marcada por uma série de notícias fiscais um pouco mais negativas. Do lado dos dados, os de atividade (PMC e PMS) surpreenderam positivamente, com composição benigna, e de inflação (IPCA) veio próximo ao esperado.

No cenário internacional, foram divulgados dados de inflação nos EUA (PCE), em linha com o esperado, mas com revisões de PIB e perspectivas do 3º trimestre indicando consumo ainda muito forte. Na Europa, também foram divulgados dados de inflação, que vieram em linha com o esperado, mostrando a parte de serviços ainda firme.
No Brasil, o destaque ficou para o discurso do presidente do BCB, Roberto Campos Neto, na Expert, no qual ele reforçou a mensagem que já vinha trazendo, vista como dove, falando abertamente de gradualismo e incerteza dos movimentos de juros, além de afirmar que as precificações a mercado estão incondizentes com a comunicação formal da entidade. Foram divulgados dados de inflação (IPCA-15), ligeiramente acima da expectativa e com a parte de serviços devolvendo uma parte da alta do mês anterior; e dados de mercado de trabalho (PNAD Contínua), que segue muito forte, porém dando leves sinais de moderação. No âmbito político, houve polêmica a respeito do anúncio do programa vale-gás, visto como uma tentativa de ampliar despesas fora do arcabouço fiscal. Por fim, foi confirmado o nome do diretor Gabriel Galípolo como indicação para a presidência do BCB.
Nos EUA, o juro de 10 anos abriu 11 bps, enquanto as bolsas não tiveram variações expressivas - S&P500 +0,24%, Nasdaq -0,74% e Russell2000 -0,09%. No Brasil, o destaque ficou para o movimento de juros: (jan/26 abriu 37 bps, jan/29 abriu 55 bps), o Ibovespa fechou estável (+0,03%) e o real desvalorizou 2,59%.
Na próxima semana será importante acompanhar a divulgação dos dados de mercado de trabalho (JOLTs e Payroll), de atividade (ISM) americanos, além do discurso do membro do Fed, Christopher Waller.
