Triple H once again plays it too safe for Clash In Italy...and honestly, it is absolutely destroying the WWE product.

No major title changes, no leaving us with something to get us excited for the following weeks of television. Triple H and HIS vision of the WWE product has made the company feel deflated, lost, and without any excitement, and Clash In Italy revealed MANY of the existing problems in WWE.

In a highly anticipated rematch, Oba Femi once again meets Brock Lesnar after Lesnar "retired" at WrestleMania for what WWE is calling the "biggest rematch ever"...can Oba Femi once again conquer The Beast, or will Brock Lesnar avenge his WrestleMania loss?

Roman Reigns accepted Jacob Fatu's challenge to Tribal Combat for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and with reports of Jacob Fatu getting injured before tonight's show, we don't know what type of condition Fatu is in. Will Roman Reigns remain undefeated in Tribal Combat, or will Jacob Fatu win his first World Championship in WWE?

Cody Rhodes defends the WWE Championship against Gunther, and this one might be Cody's toughest challenge to date. With Sami Zayn on the edge of breaking down, and the mystery of where Randy Orton could be after WrestleMania, will Gunther become the new WWE Champion?

AEW Double or Nothing is being talked about as the greatest AEW PPV of all time. Was it, or did AEW fans over hype one of AEW's flagship shows? @JDfromNY and @TheSolomonster take an extensive look back at AEW Double or Nothing 2026.

Also, Ludwig Kaiser got arrested last week, and it seemingly made him more popular with the fans of AAA, as he gears up for the biggest match of his entire career with Chad Gable for the right to call themselves the REAL El Grande Americano. WWE once again is making an attempt to convince they want to fix the Tag Team Division. First with a possible returning Enzo, and Cass, and now WWE has preliminary interest in FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) who are coming up on a contract year in AEW.

And, WWE invades Italy this weekend with Clash In Italy, and the card is STACKED. We preview the big show from Turin, Italy, and give predictions on what is going to happen with the next WWE PLE.

On this week’s episode of The Two Count, we break down one of the most important weeks in recent memory for both AEW and WWE, including the fallout from AEW Double or Nothing 2026, major backstage developments, roster rumors, and the growing debate surrounding WWE’s current creative direction.

We start with the massive reaction to AEW Double or Nothing, with many fans calling it the greatest AEW pay-per-view ever. We discuss what made the show feel so different compared to previous AEW events, including the pacing, shorter runtime, improved match order, upgraded stage presentation, and the noticeable reduction in excessive blood and overbooked chaos.

We also discuss the growing controversy surrounding Andres Hale covering AEW for ESPN after reportedly being pulled from WWE coverage, and what it says about the evolving relationship between mainstream sports media and professional wrestling.

One of the biggest surprises of the week saw Mick Foley officially sign with AEW, leading to a face-to-face confrontation with MJF during the Double or Nothing Buy In. What does Foley bring to AEW in 2026, and is this the beginning of a larger storyline involving MJF?

We also break down the future of FTR, who are reportedly entering their option year with AEW. Should Tony Khan do everything possible to keep them, or would WWE benefit more from bringing them back?

Over in WWE, rumors continue to grow about the possible return of Enzo & Cass to help revitalize WWE’s struggling tag team division. Could this actually work in 2026, or is WWE relying too heavily on nostalgia?

We also react to another underwhelming edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, with fans criticizing the show for feeling more like a glorified house show than a premium television special.

Plus, we discuss the developing story involving Ludwig Kaiser, who was reportedly arrested following an incident in his apartment building, while WWE has reportedly decided not to take disciplinary action.

And, on the injury front, Logan Paul is reportedly dealing with a torn triceps, leading many fans to wonder whether his faction, “The Vision,” is already cursed before it can truly begin.
