Off The Script w/JDfromNY

Oba Femi was set to choose his World Championship match at SummerSlam. Then Brock Lesnar appeared and announced he wants Oba Femi inside Hell In A Cell at SummerSlam.

Oba Femi has bypassed his World Title match at SummerSlam which he earned by winning King of the Ring to finish Brock Lesnar off once and for all at SummerSlam. Why did WWE take such a convoluted way to get us a 3rd match, and did they ruin the King of the Ring?

Also, Seth Rollins finished off Bron Breakker at Night of Champions, and sets his eyes on Roman Reigns and the World Heavyweight Championship which was made official tonight for SummerSlam.

Tony Khan is incredibly lucky his "Triple Main Event" went as well as it did. If not, AEW Forbidden Door 2026 would have been a complete, and utter flop.

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland wrestle for the third consecutive summer in the Men's Owen Hart Cup Final and at this point I don't know what else these two guys have left to say to each other. Ospreay won the first meeting, the rematch ended in a 30-minute draw, and now we're doing it AGAIN. At some point the story has to end.

In the Women's Owen Hart Cup Final, the recently returned Mercedes Mone looks to become the first AEW wrestler to win the tournament back-to-back, but the underdog in this situation is Maya World, who would punch her ticket to Wembley Stadium with a win.

And then there's the 12-man Steel Cage match. Mark Briscoe leads Orange Cassidy, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, Konosuke Takeshita, and Darby Allin against MJF, Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, Andrade El Idolo, and Jake Doyle. If Briscoe's team wins, he earns a shot at MJF's AEW World Championship. Mark Briscoe is going to win. I already told you that. Save your $40.

Sami Zayn is the NEW WWE Champion, and Oba Femi is the King of the Ring. I can't believe it but Triple H actually made the right calls at Night of Champions!

Jey Uso battles Oba Femi in the King of the Ring Final, with Roman Reigns having tasked Jey with winning the whole thing on his own, without any help from The Bloodline. Good luck with that.

Also, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and Sami Zayn collide in a Triple Threat for the WWE Title, and the story has been brewing for months. Sami cost Gunther his rematch, attacked both men, and somehow inserted himself into the championship picture, and I think that's exactly where this has been heading all along. Sami should win the WWE Championship.

IYO SKY gets her shot at Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring Final, and Liv already holds the Women's World Title, so she's coming in as the favorite. Can IYO pull it off?

Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker finally settle this inside a Steel Cage. No interference, no Vision, nowhere to run. This one should be VIOLENT.

And, Tiffany Stratton puts the Women's U.S. Title on the line against Jade Cargill in a rematch that's been a long time coming, and Trick Williams defends the United States Championship against Ricky Saints, who cheated his way to a #1 contender spot.

It's the FINAL3 HOUR SmackDown this year and we are one night away from Night of Champions, and Sami Zayn should WALK AWAY as the new WWE Champion.

Cody Rhodes will address BOTH Gunther and Sami Zayn on the final SmackDown before Night of Champions, where all three men will collide in a Triple Threat for the Undisputed WWE Championship. How did we get here? Nick Aldis had to FORCE this match after Sami couldn't keep his nose out of both Cody, and Gunther's business last week.

Trick Williams is BACK and he's going face-to-face with Ricky Saints, who earned his shot at the U.S. Title by beating Carmelo Hayes last week. This is a preview of what's coming at Night of Champions.

Paige is HOME in England and she's stepping into a singles match against Fatal Influence's Jacy Jayne, which is her first singles bout since returning to action.

And Giulia and Kiana James have some unfinished business after Kiana berated her for losing in the Queen of the Ring Tournament, with a rumor of a debuting Blake Monroe targeting Guilia.

Plus Rey Fenix puts the AAA Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Nathan Frazer

Tony Khan is dreaming big. Unrealistically big. Not only has AEW Forbidden Door killed all of the company's momentum coming out of Double or Nothing, he thinks THIS SHOW can combat THE WORLD CUP LMAO.

Konosuke Takeshita defends the AEW International Championship against Ricochet, Swerve Strickland vs. Daniel Garcia, Will Ospreay goes one on one with El Phantasmo, Jon Moxley and the Death Riders in six-man action, Zack Sabre Jr. battles Jack Perry, and The Young Bucks vs TMDK.

Also, Harley Cameron battles Marina Shafir, and Queen Aminata takes on Red Velvet as AEW continues the Survival of the Fittest tournament to crown a new TBS Champion. And, We also discuss the latest build to Forbidden Door’s massive 6 vs 6 Steel Cage main event featuring Team Briscoe against Team Don Callis Family, and MJF.

Where nothing on pro wrestling television is interesting, it's all the drama behind the scenes this week that absolutely stole all the headlines, and most of it came from TNA.

TNA is heading into one of their biggest weekends of the year, with MAJOR changes on the horizon. Tommy Dreamer, Sami Callihan, and Tessa Blanchard all let go by TNA, as they scramble to fill the voids left by Tommy Dreamer creatively. In the same week, it's reported that TNA could be prepping the company for a sale, with a 50 million dollar figure attached to it. What is going on in TNA, and what does this all mean for them moving forward. Also, Tommy Dreamer wasn't without controversy upon his exit from TNA, after several stories broke about his behavior behind the scenes with multiple talents speaking out.

WWE has Night of Champions this Saturday with both King and Queen of the Ring finals taking place. Oba Femi battles Jey Uso for the Men, and IYO SKY battles Liv Morgan for the Women. How does SummerSlam shape up? Does Triple H destroy it all Saturday or does he finally get the fans excited about the future.

And, AEW presents Forbidden BORE (Door) on Sunday with the Men's and Women's Owen Hart finals taking place, as the inter-promotional PPV for AEW is lacking any real interest heading into what should be their busiest time of the year.

It's the final stop for WWE Raw before Night of Champions this Saturday, and everyone is worried about Jey Uso winning the King of the Ring Tournament.

Oba Femi, and Jey Uso find themselves in the Finals of the King of the Ring Tournament. Will WWE pull out a major shock with Brock Lesnar taking out Oba Femi before the Tournament, or will we be inching closer to King Jey Uso?

Liv Morgan meets IYO Sky face to face before their Queen of the Ring final.

Also, The Street Profits challenge Bron Breakker and Austin Theory for the WWE World Tag Team Championships. Will Seth Rollins return the favor to Bron Breakker, after Breakker ruined Rollins King of the Ring chances? The Women's Tag Team Championships will also be defended as Paige, and Brie Bella defend against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley.

Triple H is one step closer to having Jey Uso Main Event SummerSlam...and fans online are voicing their displeasure with this nonsense all over again.

Jey Uso is in the FINALS of the King of the Ring Tournament after defeating Je'Von Evans but at what cost? Now he meets Oba Femi, and fans are predicting Brock Lesnar will help Jey Uso win the entire tournament, after weeks of Oba Femi calling Brock Lesnar out.

Liv Morgan advanced in to the FINALS of the Queen of the Ring Tournament after defeating Charlotte Flair but instead of using the Tournament to figure out who wrestles the CHAMPION, we're using the Tournament to foward a Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill SummerSlam match.

And Cody Rhodes defended the WWE Championship against Gunther with Sami Zayn as the Special Guest Referee, and it all ends in chaos as expected, with Sami now more involved in the WWE Title picture now than he ever was.

Forbidden Door is in 10 days. What does Tony Khan do? He gives away The Forbidden Door Main Event on AEW Dynamite 10 days early. Make it make sense.

MJF, and Mark Briscoe chosen their teams for the 12 Man Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door, and then proceed to have a 12 Man Tag Team Match in the Main Event.

Also, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland meet face to face before the Owen Hart Final, and it was genuinely GREAT TELEVISION. And Mercedes Mone tries to advance to the Owen Hart Finals for a 2nd year in a row as she battles Hazuki?

The King of the Ring this year is either Oba Femi's to win, or Jey Uso's to ruin, and if Triple H is smart, he goes with Oba Femi.

As we near Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, Triple H has a very important decision to make. Stick with the Bloodline slop heading into SummerSlam, or literally go all the way with Oba Femi as World Heavyweight Champion. Who will Oba Femi's opponent be in the finals of the King of the Ring, and where does Brock Lesnar fit into all of this?

Also, CM Punk, who may or may not be King of the ring after all is said and done, is on his way back to WWE "soon"...but not before vicious rumors hit calling CM Punk a steroid user, and claimed he is upset at WWE for various reasons. Where is CM Punk, and were there any validity to these "rumors", and with the rumors of him heading to SmackDown, how do we get him to Friday nights, and make sense of it?

AEW Dynamite drops the ball once again heading into Forbidden Door with a horrible Dynamite this past Wednesday. Sami Zayn is the Special Guest Referee for the WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes, and Gunther on Friday Night SmackDown this week. Jack Perry is set to become a free agent. Tessa Blanchard walks away from TNA and requested her release. Liv Morgan's stalker found "not guilty" by reason of "insanity". WWE talent has major visa issues which is why several talents are missing, and Danhausen is the new KING of New York City after the Knicks won the NBA Finals, and of course WWE is going to act as if THEY won the NBA Finals.
