It's someone's birthday today, can you guess?

No, not mine.

It's Andrea Barber's, who portrayed Kimmy Gibbler on Full House and now portrays her on Fuller House.

I decided in honor of her birthday I would cover S6E14: Birthday Blues, which aired on January 19, 1993.

In this episode D.J. is planning she and Steve's 6 month anniversary and is horrified to learn she's forgotten Kimmy's 16th birthday is on the same day. Frantically, she scrambles to get the family together to throw a last-minute party for Kimmy.

f I’m going to give away a jerk of the episode award (which I don’t think I’ve ever done on the podcast).

I gotta give it to DJ, for how she acted when Kimmy ran out saying to her “I don’t get why you’re so jealous of Steve”

And then she turns on Danny after she’s surprised Kimmy walked out. She says “There’s no law that says you have to throw your friend a birthday party”

Danny points out to DJ that “You’ve been dating Steve for 6 months but you’ve been friends with Kimmy for 6 years”

I know I was one that alienated my friends when I got a boyfriend and yes they did call me out on it.

Happy Full House Friday Everyone!

It’s fun in the sun time as the Tanners head to Hawaii to celebrate two years together as a family in S3E1: Tanner Island!

Thanks to Danny’s poor sailing abilities the family ends up stranded on an Island, which is actually the correct place they need to be but they don’t realize it until they are “captured” by the tribe putting on the Polynesian Show.

Also Joey is obsessed with a dream hula girl that keeps disappearing and reappearing before his eyes.

Jesse’s Elvis obsession leads Becky to dive off a cliff complete with waterfall.

Stephanie’s belief in Menehune tribe keeps her spirits up and from falling into despair.

DJ takes control of the Tanner Group when the arguing gets out of hand Lord Of The Flies “Conch Shell ” style.

Mr. Bear is the only Tanner not in Hawaiian Garb.

I also discuss Foot Golf , Sun Poisoning , and trying to figure out how much a coconut weighs in pounds (Anyone know?) and activities to do at the Turtle Bay Resort where this episode was filmed.

Welcome to the first episode of the Full House/Fuller House Summer Fun Series.

Today, I covered Fuller House S3E1: Best Summer Ever, which dropped on Netflix September 22, 2017.

In this episode DJ makes Jackson take summer school, where he ends up meeting Gia's daughter Rocki. . Steve and CJ make a surprise announcement. Jimmy has a hard time trying to find somewhere to park his RV. Fernando is keeping a secret from Kimmy.

My Additional Thoughts On This Episode:

Not Enough Max, Even though he got his own song in the beginning of the episode(anyone else love that song, I know I do!)

Cat Face Jackson

Jimmy/Stephanie upside down kiss in the kitchen, absolutely adorbs

Tommy's most likely first words on the show, he calls Jackson a kitty, because of the black sharpie drawn cat whiskers on his face(if not, then first for the season) what a cutie.

Shock Line Of The Episode: Fernando's Realtor after Kimmy throws a glass of lemonade in her face when she thinks Fernando is cheating with her. Kimmy apologizes and the Realtor says:

"This is nothing, I've been shot four times"

Gah! That was cray-cray.

My Line of The Episode: "These Swedish Meatballs are so good, I almost bought some, but I figured why, when I can get these for free" as he's holding the sample tray inside his RV that's parked outside of Cosco.

Plus, how cool was that security guard?

Today, I'm wishing Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen a Happy 33rd Birthday and to celebrate I'm covering Full House S5E9: Happy Birthday Babies Part 1, which aired on November 12, 1991.

In this episode it's Michelle's 5th birthday and she has a tantrum when she learns her baby book is coming to an end, so the family cheers her up but sharing stories of how she's helped them out or the crazy shenanigans they involved her in. It's basically a complete flashback episode.

In this episode I also pull out my baby book and go through it. I really enjoyed sharing it with you. I also mention my memories of my past birthdays at 5 or 6 years old and my first birthday living with my Aunt and Uncle when I was 8.

Today, I covered S6E19: Subterranean Graduation Blues, which aired on

March 2, 1993.

In this episode Jesse is determined to show up everybody who doubted he could finish high school; but on the night of the graduation, everybody gets delayed when the subway train gets stuck.

Also during this episode I talk about the first time I rode a subway on my trip to D.C. two years ago.

I'm sure people could tell I was a newbie or a rookie, but no one bothered to look up from their phones or tablets to find out. Very different from 1993, I shall say. I also mention my discovery of the internet back in 1998-99 when I was supposed to be babysitters my nephews. I saw those kids thru their Rugrats phase in 1997-98 to their Pokemon phase in 1999 and 2000. Yikes. It's so hard to believe both boys are now 25 and 21 years old. How time flies, but the memories remain.

I thought I would cover S8E5: To Joey, With Love for Teacher Appreciation Day for the month of May, this episode aired on October 25, 1994.

In this episode Joey takes a job as a substitute teacher--in Michelle's classroom. PTA president, Mrs. Carruthers (guest star MARCIA WALLACE) becomes Joey's not-so-secret admirer. Danny auditions to play bass guitar for Jesse.

Also I talk about my teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade who would sometimes be goofy and us kids would get riled up and he would have to bring down the hammer to settle us down. Yes, even shy little 8 year old me could occasionally be seen bouncing off the walls from time to time.

Moving on to the Graduation Theme for the month of May.

Today, I’m covering S4E25: The Graduates, which aired on April 26, 1991.

In this episode Danny dates a college student. At the same time, D.J. graduates from junior high and Michelle graduates from preschool. Stephanie feels left out of the graduation festivities, so the family tries to cheer her up by making a graduation ceremony for her.

I also learned that I’ve actually heard of one of Slaughter’s songs “Days Gone By” from the my grandparents 50th Anniversary video that my sister put together.

Danny wishing to recapture his fleeting youth dates a 21 yr old.

Stephanie wants a graduation ceremony for going from 3rd grade to 4th grade just her other sisters get one because she’s changing schools. The family gives her one and she still complained!

I do my first Joey impression of Walter Brennen who Kirsten thinks is Ronald Regan.

I also look up some graduation songs. Do you remember yours?
