May is the Season for Proms, so I decided to cover Fuller House S4E12: The Prom for the occasion.

In this episode Prom night brings big problems for Jackson and Ramona. Meanwhile, a power-hungry DJ is taking her role as head chaperon a little too seriously. Joey and Fernando duel over a chilly cook off.

DJ’s a chaperone at Jackson and Ramona’s Prom and runs into Gia who because she hit a crossing guard with her car at school she needs to get her volunteer hours in as she says while constantly slipping from a flask, we get a reappearance by the lovely Popko who is referred to as Robert, he and Ramona share a dance.

Jackson insults Rocki to some of his jerk football player friends.

Casey is the best dressed most awesome new character of this show. I want to see more of him in Season 5.

Jackson’s Prom Posal to Rocki in a gorilla suit was super adorbs, but little Tommy dressed like a donut takes the cake.

Beaches, Endearment, Magnolias Cry Fest 2018, better time spent than a chili cook off between Joey and Fernando.

Steph chugging a jug of milk was hilarious.

Max creates the Chili Hug in a Bowl by combining both Joey and Fernando’s chilis.

Max is a genius.

This was a fun episode with call backs to Michelle’s amnesia and DJ’s Prom with Steve.

DJ and Steve slow dancing in the kitchen to Bryan Adams (Everything I Do”) I Do It For You was a great love letter to us Steej Fans Team Steve All The Way!

MAY 2019 Theme: Proms and Graduations

Today I'm covering S6E22: Prom Night, which aired on May 4, 1993.

In this episode as DJ prepares for prom, she fears that Steve may have resurfacing feelings for his old girlfriend, Rachel. On the big night, DJ realizes that her suspicions may be accurate, as Rachel tries to get Steve to escort her to an after-party at the hotel. Meanwhile, Danny obsesses over the newly discovered age difference between Vicky and himself.

Also I find out the Top Billboard Hits of 1993, discuss Promposal Ideas, my ice cream cone addiction, giving up Diet Coke for a week and what other roles I recognize the actor who plays Paul from and also the actress who plays Rachel (I’ll make separate posts for those) and some other things I talk about but can’t remember.

Get comfy, cause this particular episode is over 2 hours long. So much to talk about I didn't want to leave anything out.

Next week, I'm covering Fuller House S4E12: Prom, which aired on December 14, 2018.

Tonight, I'm covering S3E7: And They Call It Puppy Love

which aired on November 10, 1989.

In this episode a dog wanders into the yard. Convinced that the dog's a stray, Stephanie wants to keep it. They learn that the dog's name is Minnie, and she came all the way from Ohio. Minnie gives birth to a litter of puppies on Jesse's bed.

Also in this episode I try to find AduFlintstonesnes Vitamins (no luck).

I talk about taking my driver’s training written test, also find helpful information about preparing for your dog to give birth, and when I picked out my puppy Rocks when I was 13 (I’ll post a picture later) going to Krispy Kreme (first time).

Full House S1E1: Our Very First Show Again

Airdate: September 22, 1987

In this episode when Danny Tanner's wife Pamela is killed in an auto accident, he finds himself left all alone to raise his three daughters: D.J., Stephanie, and baby Michelle. Fortunately Danny's hair-obsessed, rock-star brother in-law Jesse Cochran, along with Danny's flamboyant, cartoon loving friend Joey Gladstone, move in to help Danny raise his girls. On the first day, D.J. runs away, and Jesse and Joey find extreme difficulty and anxiety in changing Michelle.

Also in this episode I talk about my diaper changing dilemma (taking care of my nephew when I was 13) as well as talk about a couple movies that focused on adults who were clueless when it came to changing a baby’s diaper like Three Men and A Baby and Baby Boom. Both released a month or two after Full House Premiered.

The late 80’s seemed to be baby crazed because Look Who’s Talking would be released 2 years later.

DJ wasn’t the only one dealing with an absent mom and having to share a room.

I really identified with that aspect.

Overall, I had a great time recording this episode.

I’ve decided to start a podcast on one show that had a lot of impact and influence on my childhood let’s just say it helped me cope with coming from a broken home and the Tanners made me feel like I was a part of their family every Friday Night. It was my safe haven, my warm blanket, a place I could learn lessons from and characters I could look up to as well as grow up with. As I’m sure it was for all of us and in some way Full House became that second home, that second family.

One of the reasons I wanted to cover these shows, Full House and Fuller House isn’t just because Fuller House is ending and its final season 5 is airing this Fall, it’s a chance for all of to relive the memories, laugh, cry and even through in some criticism for funzies sake.

Now with this podcast it will be character/theme driven for example Jesse and Becky’s Courtship from their first meeting in Season 2 through their almost wedding, engagement, actual wedding, pregnancy and birth of the twins.

Or maybe throughout the summer do some Tanner Vacay episodes like when they go to Hawaii or Disney World.
