Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing a shocking video floating around social media showing teenagers in Northeast Philadelphia stealing forklifts and using them to lift and damage cars throughout their neighborhood. Then, Giordano updates the news centered on the gubernatorial race in Pennsylvania, revealing that Republican candidate Doug Mastriano has challenged Josh Shapiro to two debates under certain conditions, including moderation by an outlet that will allow a ‘fair fight.’ After that, Giordano takes a look at the Republican primary out in Wyoming, with Liz Cheney, who’s heading the January 6th committee, losing out to a pro-Trump Republican. Dom plays back reaction, including from OJ Simpson, who has now come out in full support of Cheney. Giordano explains how this reflects on the changing tide of the Republican Party as voters continue to push off from the establishment and show their continued support for former President Donald Trump.

Then, Dom welcomes Victor Fiorillo, columnist for Philadelphia Magazine, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his newest column that’s getting some flack, as is normal when this particular column is released, calling out the ‘The Worst of Philly 2022.’  Dom takes Victor to task for one entry in particular, asking for justification for the inclusion of reporter Steve Keeley on the list, somebody that Dom lionizes as ‘the Charles Dickens of Philadelphia.’ Victor tells that he specified that Keeley was not the ‘worst’ reporter, but the ‘worst reporter to follow for an occasional dose of good news.’ Then, Giordano offers up entries that he agrees with, with he and Victor going piecemeal through the list and explaining why they’d answer the question the way they would.  (Photo by Steve Marcus-Pool/Getty Images)
