In America, the average age of people who attend church skews older. In fact, the average age of the average member of The Episcopal Church is 66! Yet, God has done some of God's best work with faithful people older in age. Abram was 100 when his son Isaac was born. His wife Sarah struggled to believe that God could do something new with their very old, physical, deeply personal disappointment. But God posed a question to them both, “Is there anything too wonderful for the Lord?”.
In this episode, Melissa and Bishop Wright have a conversation about becoming old, growing in our capacity to listen no matter the age, and what we can learn from people of all ages.
