Old Gamer’s Almanac

Hunter was able to talk Ernest Jernest into coming right back to talk about one of the biggest games of the century, Hollow Knight: Silksong. Apologies that we're not exhaustedly discussing sparse details of this game in a hotel room in Indianapolis but we thought maybe we'd do it justice this time. ;)

Matt has returned to Hunter's couch to talk about that green egg laying dyno we all know and love! A classic OGA discussion of feeling pretty alright about a video game. Cold open discussion is all about the Analogue 3D that both the boys recently unwrapped as early Christmas gifts from Santa!

Hunter and EJ sit down this week TO EAT AN ENTIRE CRATE OF BANANAS.

At some point the new Donkey Kong game for the Switch 2 is spoken of but I'd just chill with it.

This week we have a special episode for you all! Today Hunter, Matt, Shelton, and Alex (Exothermic from ExothermicPlaysGames) sit down to draft their favorite games of 1995. They will then spend the next two months playing the entire draft of games and then meet back for a final GOTY ranking to find the best game of 1995. Feel free to play along!

This week Hunter and newcomer Shelton Brister sit down to talk about the darkest game in OGA history. A twisted weirdo post-apocalyptic point-and-click written by Harlan Ellison. It's a lot but this game invites a lot of interesting discussion even if that discussion requires some pretty serious content warnings.

This week Hunter is sitting down the wonderful Benji Nate (Girl Juice, Catboy) to talk about their wonderful experience playing Blue Prince together! There's also plenty of spooky talk about a recent trip to a haunted house compound. Happy early halloween???

Hunter and Matt are here this week to talk about our classic OGA subject: SEGAAAAA. This one is a real throwback that I feel like should be very fitting this week of just the boys havin' fun talking about a weird franchise we're quite fond of. Jump on and give it a listen!
