This week we speak with Olympic hopeful and beer mile world record holder Corey Bellemore. Corey recently opened up to Canadian Running about his struggle with an eating disorder that resulted in 2 stress fractures, a lost season, and a complicated relationship with his body.
Corey has learned a lot about himself over the last 18 months, and now he’s sharing his story in the hopes that it will help others who are struggling. We have been mindful not to include any specific weight-loss strategies in this episode, but just a head’s up that we will be speaking openly about eating disorders. If you are struggling with an ED please reach out to a medical professional and visit the resources from the Government of Canada listed under the heading "Where can I find information and resources about eating disorders?"
