Satan, our enemy, wants to shut us up all the time.  But, God has called us to be HIS WITNESSES and to ALWAYS BE READY to share the reason for the HOPE we have in Jesus Christ with anyone we meet.

Jerry, Carol, and Ryan, talk through the process that has called ALL as believers in Jesus Christ, to pursue and obey: to SHARE JESUS with people so that OUTSIDERS will become INSIDERS and continue the CYCLE by sharing Jesus with OUTSIDERS.

Sharing Jesus isn't a FORMULA or a SALES PITCH.  Sharing Jesus is sharing God's truth in Scripture and our story with Jesus of repenting of our sins and believing in Jesus ALONE to save us through FAITH in CHRIST'S FINISHED WORK!

As you listen, we are praying that you will amazed at the power that taking the STEP OF BAPTISM can have in our lives and then to continue growing to follow Jesus and teach all followers EVERYTHING that Jesus has commanded us to do.

We come to believe and be saved through the GOSPEL, then we come to know how to LIVE for Jesus through the GOSPELS (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).

We are not all the same.  We are all quite different.  
Yet in Christ's Church we are to be unified and not remain divided into our own little sub-groups.

The World System forces UNIFORMITY, requiring everyone to think the same and be the same.  You can't have a view that's different from THE NARRATIVE.  
The World System also focuses too much on all our differences and desires to put us into its own groups that remain divided.

In today's podcast, Rachel, Jason, and Ryan talk about how JESUS' CHURCH is totally different than the World by being UNIFIED through faith in Jesus Christ and allowing every person to STILL MAINTAIN their GOD-GIVEN uniqueness.

How can we work to build this UNITY that Jesus died and rose again to secure for us?  How about through NATURAL RELATIONSHIPS with one another in HIS CHURCH so that we can be the FELLOWSHIP of DIFFERENTS that God created us to be?

ONE BODY.  MANY MEMBERS.  UNITED in CHRIST.  NOT DIVIDED.  His Beautiful Church!

Church discipline is not meant to be scary, negative, or go nuclear.  

Biblical discipline is directed by the Scriptures and is meant to restore relationships with God and with our brothers and sisters in Christ.  It's really incredible when God gives us His grace to restore relationships.  This is what Joel and Ryan are talking about on today's podcast.

Discipline is not always easy to go through, but it's for our good, the church's good, and the good of the community in which we live.  Discipline and restoration really can't happen well unless we're WITH ONE ANOTHER in the body.  We do need to be physically present with one another regularly and consistently to do restoration well.

You don't have to live the life of faith on your own.  You don't need to fight the good fight of the faith on a solo mission.  That isn't God's best for us.  Actively Pursuing Jesus with God's Family in the Church is!

How consistently and actively would you say you are in responding to God's Word preached and taught?  God's Word is meant to be so much more than just HEAD KNOWLEDGE.

We desperately need God's Word to live a life that reflects Jesus and impacts the relationships we have in our lives.

God's Word is meant to transform our lives.  When we share God's Word with people we know, we can never know the full impact or the lives that will be transformed.

What we do together SHAPES US!  When we're an active part of a group gathering we can become better than we were before, or worse, depending on the type of people we are allowing to influence us.

In today's podcast, Mark and Ryan talk about what can happen when we invest in time worshipping together as a church and how God can shape us to be more like Christ as we regularly GATHER TOGETHER.

It's too easy to miss out on the many short little conversations that lead to longer conversations or opportunities to do things together.  It's too easy to be TOO INDIVIDUALISTIC.  WE NEED EACH OTHER!

Gathering together is much more than a cure our loneliness.  We can be help one another grow to be more like Christ!

What is conversion?  From WHAT to WHAT?  And is CONVERSION really needed?  YES!

What we really need most in our lives is CONVERSION through faith from deep in our heart.  This is what we need and what Joel and Ryan discuss today on On Our Way Home.

If the Holy Spirit doesn't give you NEW LIFE through CONVERSION, though REPENTANCE from our sins and FAITH in JESUS CHRIST, there would be NO SALVATION and no CHURCH.

We just can't clean ourselves up on the outside to try to make ourselves acceptable to God.
What conversion does is replaces our black heart of sin and gives us a NEW HEART that is written with God's Law by God Himself.  

Have you been converted by FAITH?  Are you trying to clean yourself up on your own?  Check out God's alternative and then let that change lead you to WORSHIP!

What is a church?  Is church just an extra add on to our lives or is church essential for life?
Is it a CLUB?  Is it a place to be ENTERTAINED?

As we rediscover church this year it's important for us to know why church is essential based on what the Scriptures say and what the church IS.

As Dwight, Jason, and Ryan discuss this chapter today, we will discover how the preaching of the Word anointed by the Holy Spirit can jar us loose if we get spiritual corrosion through lack of obeying God's Word.  

You will also discover how our relationships with one another can really help us live for Christ more effectively together.  The church should never be a CLUB.  We should not be about entertaining people.  We're essentially a FAMILY.

It's easy to give way to fear.  And our culture today is being heavily influenced and affected by fear.  But the Church of Jesus lives by faith in Jesus.

It's easy to drift away from ACTIVE MUTUAL PARTICIPATION in the body life of the Church due to individualism or consumerism.

Anna, Garrick, and Ryan talk about persecution, fear, faith, the essential need of believers to be active participants in the BODY and obediently walking with Christ and OTHERS in the Church.

Hopefully this podcast will challenge you and encourage you to REMEMBER what the CHURCH truly is and to get back to regularly participating in the BODY.  Gathering for Worship each week as a body is far more important and essential than we may realize.

A great way to start 2022 is by REPENTING.  
Believe it because that's what Psalm 120 is all about.

Repenting puts you in relationship with Jesus and with other brothers and sisters who can help you as you walk with Jesus.

Repenting isn't just feeling bad about your choices.  It isn't about earning our way.  It's about getting in relationship with God and staying in relationship with Him on His Way home.

We always need repentance.  ALWAYS.  This is where life begins.  As we begin 2022 with this podcast from July 21st, 2021, we need to remember how great repentance is because it connects with by faith to Jesus and His church, His Body, your brothers and sisters.
