Florida State DT Darrell Jackson was denied a hardship waiver by the NCAA this past week. What does it mean for the Seminoles in 2024?

Plus we go over the DB board now that Alabama native Rydarrius Morgan flipped to 'Bama, and do a quick preview of what's expected to be an intense couple of practices over in Jacksonville for the Seminoles.

Florida State went into Georgia’s backyard to earn what is the biggest single recruiting win of the Mike Norvell Era. The Seminoles landed a commitment from five-star DB KJ Bolden.

How exactly did FSU win out? And how did we go about reporting one of the most dramatic recruitments in recent memory? On The Bench has you covered for a thorough episode on the Bolden recruitment.

We also give a rundown of FSU’s recruitment of Bolden’s teammate as well as some early thoughts on the 2023 Seminoles now that fall camp is underway.

Florida State took its position against the ACC to another level during a straightforward Board of Trustees meeting.

An aligned group of some of the most powerful members of the FSU community, led by university president Richard McCullough, outlined their concerns about the untenable nature of being in the ACC from FSU's perspective.

What did we learn from the BoT meeting and what happens next?

Chris Nee and Brendan Sonnone recap FSU's power play in this episode of On The Bench before getting to the run of commitments leading to a Top 10 class for the Seminoles, near final thoughts on KJ Bolden's recruitment, and Confidence Ratings for each position group ahead of fall camp.

On The Bench begins with 10 minutes of Chris Nee diving into his report on Noles247 about Florida State's exploration of leaving the ACC. He details the reasoning of the timing of his report, why he believe things are escalating when it comes to FSU/realignment, and the possible risks and factors involved if FSU were to indeed make a jump.

We then transition into more context on the report, including a connecting of dots on why the Big Ten makes more sense than the SEC if anything is indeed imminent.

And the final 30 minutes of the show are spent on takeaways from FSU's time at ACC Kickoff, our final thoughts on Charles Lester as he chooses between FSU, Colorado, and Alabama, and then some other important recruiting updates

Join Kevin Little and CoachAB with special guest Chris Nee as they preview the 2023 skill position groups.
