In this episode of On the Couch, I catch up with the CEO of Highfield Resources, Ignacio Salazar.
We last spoke to Ignacio in December 2021, and plenty has happened since with the Muga Project in Northern Spain.
Ignacio is currently in Australia updating investors on the progress of permitting, construction and financing for this important project in the European fertiliser market.
Ignacio Salazar is an international executive with more than 30 years of experience in the natural resources industry. He has lived and worked in various countries in Europe and South America. Ignacio has extensive experience in the exploration, development, construction and operation of open pit and underground mines.
Grab a glass of Rioja and sit back and enjoy the conversation with Ignacio.

As a final end of year treat, I sit down with my old friend Adam Dawes from Shaw and Partners. Many will be familiar with Adam from his numerous TV appearances and his insightful knowledge of the Bank of Japan. I once saw Adam asked on CNBC a true question without notice on moves from the BoJ, and as a true professional he managed to conjure something up from the deep recesses of his mind and sound convincing.
In this podcast Adam is on safer ground and we discuss the outlook for the Australian market, what to expect in reporting season and some of the stocks that he likes currently. Plus we invent the banana index. Great fun chat to one of the best in the business.
