"Robin Hood and Babes in the Wood" is the society's 2019 production and runs at Theatre Royal until December 30th. Anne Corcoran Brown and Patrice Power discussed the work behind the scenes, and the community that grows out of a love of theatre.

In this book, Liam explores the history of the placenames along the coastline of areas like An Rinn and Ardmore. He feels a lot of them have been lost in translation over the years.

"Days of our Lives" is a collection of short stories compiled by seven services users at WIDA. One of them is Kate Tobin, she joined Mary in studio along with Nicola Spendlove, Occupational Therapist at the Centre.

Katie Halpin-Hill and Riain Ó Donnchú, who are members of Dún Garbhán le Gaeilge have teamed up to form Féile Ealaíne Péacóg. It will run at various locations from November 23rd to 30th. The pair, who are Leaving Cert students, joined Mary in studio.

This is a compendium of stories and facts, some well documented, others not so much, about Ireland's oldest city through the centuries. It covers everything from Strongbow and Aoife, to Waterford's very own vampire, to famous sports people and actors.

The Waterford native is part of the duo that runs "Dyehouse Films." She directed a short movie called "The Girl at the End of the Garden," about a child in the Direct Provision system. It will be screened at the Cork Film Festival on Sunday November 17th.

This is a collaboration between Vladimir, his family from Slovakia "The Jablokovs," tenor Seán Costello, soprano Margaret Keys, a 25 piece orchestra and a 50 piece choir. It takes place at the Lyrath Estate Kilkenny on December 12th as part of Yulefest.

"Bad Sunday" will be shown as part of an evening of "Theatre Tipples and Tapas" by Dungarvan Dramatic Club, at Merry's pub from Tuesday November 19th to the 22nd. Committee members Margaret Dennehy and Carol Elstead joined Mary in studio.

This is Jim's second only play to be set in Waterford and audiences are very excited about the prospect of "The Red Iron" coming to Garter Lane Arts Centre for a three week run in November.

Waterford Author Catherine Kirwan joined Mary in studio to talk about her book Darkest Truth and all that has been happening since she published her first book.
