Sheila, who hails from Blackwater in Wexford but has strong Waterford connections, previously brought out a digital book, "Mending Lace," which has since had hard copy publication. "Kilbride House" is a work of historical fiction and is partially set on the Dingle Peninsula. She outlines her influences to Mary "On the Fringe."

Johnny has been in the music industry for over 40 years, working with Clannad, Hozier, Celtic Woman, The High Kings and many more high profile artists. He was also a founding member of IMRO. His new book "In a Lifetime" documents his stories and adventures.

The Design Challenge project is a design-led research collaboration between WIT’s Creativity & Culture Research Group and main project partners Waterford City and County Council and Garter Lane Arts Centre, together with support from Local Enterprise Office, Institute of Designers in Ireland, Design and Craft Council of Ireland, Creative Ireland, community groups, design industry and local enterprise. Luke, a graduate of Visual Design at WIT, dropped into Mary to chat about the prize.

Butlerstown native and lecturer at WIT Fiona tells Mary that writing has always been in her blood; she's the daughter of well known poet John Ennis. She won the national Molly Keane Creative Writing award 2019, for her short story "Debt."

Joxer Daly was originally a character from the Seán O'Casey play "Juno and the Paycock," and he's been brought back to life by Eddie Naughton in the play "Joxer Daly Esq." This one man show will be at Theatre Royal on July 4th and 5th, and will return again from July 18th to the 25th. Phelim Drew plays Joxer in this one-person play and he spoke to Mary
