CASLPO - This course explores helping athletes who have sustained sports-related concussions develop their communication and cognitive skills to gain independence, reduce their frustrations, successfully return to work or school, and return to the activities and social interactions that are important to them. Danielle discusses skilled assessment and treatment, as well as collaborative and person-centered approaches to help understand challenges, identify specific goals and develop evidence-based treatment plans to achieve successful communication and swallowing outcomes.
