One Life Left

This episode we're joined by Mike Diver, author of such books as From Coin-Ops to Table-Tops, The Console, Indie Games and Retro Gaming. He's got another book coming out in August all about the history of video games from the Aliens franchise. Funnily enough it's called Aliens: The Video Games: An Unofficial Guide!

Together we tackle such subjects as the mini Gameboy music player, Red Octane's return, the Eurogamer layoffs, Resident Evil's spoiler curse, Wolverine's head start on GTA6 and where we want to see Nintendo go next!

This week we learn all about The Method! No, not Konstantin Stanislavski's acting style, championed by the likes of Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro and probably Danny Dyer, but Daan Last's entirely new way of making video games - The Method!
