When most people think of success, they think of this place, where once reached, all the struggle will be over and it will be smooth sailing from that point forward. There is a saying in the personal development space and it is, "new level, new devil", meaning the journey is never ending. This should be comforting to you, as you realize every step you take is a success and that the journey is indeed the way, not the end result. In this episode I will share a story from my trek to Mount Everest's base camp, a morning climb to the summit of Mount Kala Patthar, and the lessons it teaches us about success.

It isn't success that breeds confidence, but the acknowledgment of one's success that leads to greater confidence and even greater success. When you acknowledge the successes you've had in your life, you till the soil for an abundant crop to grow. Adversely, when you fail to acknowledge your successes, weeds take over, stifling your crop. For this reason you must fully integrate your wins, so that you feel alive, inspired, and aligned with your true unlimited potential. In this episode I will share a story from denial to acceptance of one's successes.

Have you ever committed to something, only to look back and regret your decision? The best way to avoid this is to say no to everything, at least at first. When you say no, you're protecting your time for the things that matter to you most. Your next task should be to find the support to say yes. If you can't fid the reasons why you should say yes or your reasons aren't strong enough, then the answer is no. This practice will open up more time in your life for the things that matter to you and will make you aware of unconscious people pleasing habits you may have.

Very few things are as jolting as the passing of a loved one. While mourning is natural, there is an opening that happens, where you get to look at your life, your priorities, what's important and how you've been living. In that opening it is imperative to take action or at the very least, capture the inspiration, because it is your soul calling out to you, pointing you in the direction to go. Next time a loved one passes, remember that we all arrive at that destination and let it be a reminder to live now.

You can't create your future with a food in the past. It isn't uncommon to go back to experiences we've had, hoping to have the same feelings we did so long ago. Looking for certainty will keep us stock, because no matter how hard we try, we can never go back. The only way is forward.
