Lauren Fernandez graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Political Science: Legal Studies. After college she went to work for the Secret Service in Washington, D.C. After leaving the White House, she utilized her Top Secret Clearance: SCI/Full Scope Polygraph and accepted a job with a consulting firm in McLean, Virginia working with the Department of State, CIA, National Counterterrorism Centre, and other Intelligence communities.
Lauren’s life motto is: "If you trip and fall, laugh first, then get up and keep going! Because the only way you fail is to never get up."
Her book “Talk Back Barbie: The Secret Service Edition” is about a sassy, ambitious, Southern blonde debutante who can’t keep her mouth shut. She joins the Secret Service and stirs up enough trouble to become a White House legend—the one and only “Talk Back Barbie.”

Aaron Young has had a life which is hard to sum up. He went from neglected child to a stint in his 20’s dealing drugs in Sydney’s Kings Cross. Backing himself he moved to Dubai, was offered a job as an event construction manager and fast became one of the best in the middle east. Admitting his vice is women, his life changed again when he turned down a lucrative job of event construction manager for the inaugural Abu Dhabi Formula 1, opting instead to leave the middle east and ventured to Africa for love. There he describes being sucked into the vortex of “corruption” and the wildlife “hunting industry”. His time in the this industry was brief but it’s personal impact was enormous and it led him to conservation work, a stint in prison, and ultimately deportation. Now back in Australia, Aaron works as a business and life coach //utilising his years of personal experience and adversity to assist others.

Christian “Boo” Boucousis is an ex Australian Air Force fighter pilot. After he was diagnosed with a form of arthritis called Ankylosing Spondylitis, he retired from the Air Force. New to the world of business he moved to a country that offered the least barriers to entry, Afghanistan, to setup and start a new business with a mate. Selling his now very successful company he left Afghanistan to moved to Pupa New Guinea for a different career, before finally returning home to Australia to embark as a property developer building a 17 story hotel in Perth as his first development project. Needless to say that Boo doesn’t have an off button and is never afraid to embark on a new adventure or career.

Mary Turner Thomson met and married a man that explained his unusual absences, disappearances and at times physical injuries on his job as an IT expert with the CIA and he had proof of him being a spy! However, in 2006, Mary’s world shattered when she discovered her husband Will was a bigamist, con man and convicted sex offender. Her story is how one man manipulated an intelligent (mensa member) and independent woman, conning her out of £200,000 and leaving her to bring up the children he claimed he could never have due to infertility. Mary thought her story would end with the revelation that Will in fact had several families ― and numerous children. But when she discovered that he had continued to prey on new victims, she vowed to turn his betrayal into a force for good. On her mission to protect these women and others, Mary also learned more about the psychopath behind Will's duplicitous behaviour.

In 2015, Katherine Knoploh was diagnosis with stage 3 breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, 5 months of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation therapy Katherine has celebrated 6 years being cancer free.

Cancer doesn’t define Katherine, but it has shaped her. It has created new beliefs and maintained some of the old. Katherine is now a holistic health coach has been specifically educated to help people identify their health goals, strategize, and guide you throughout the process of achieving those goals. Paul Forchione was born with cerebral palsy and it was so severe that the doctors told his mum (mom for those in America) that he would never be able to walk. Thank goodness for a wonderful mum and a great mindset that wasn’t his story. He was able to overcome it and is now able to live a very active life, however it wasn’t easy to get to at that point. Today as a Mindset Coach, Paul shares his story with his clients to help them rewrite their own stories to go after their true dreams and desires.

In 2001, Athanasia Houvarda was happily married and had her own business. One hot summers day in Greece, whilst on the way to the beach, she lost it all in a horrific car accident. Athanasia lost friends, her relationship and suffered burns to 74% of her body. After a transfer to the UK for better quality care, two long months in ICU and enduring countless surgeries, she beats the odds and went from “burns victim” to “burns survivor”.

Melissa Pierce adopted two children and moved to a rural community for her husband’s teaching job. One morning Melissa woke up to discover that her husband had devastatingly passed away in his sleep. She now had to tick the box of a title usually reserved for those much older, widow. Along with being a young widow, there was also the fact that her husband’s tragic death meant that she was now a single parent and needed to figure out how to step into that single parent role and shoulder the reasonability that had once been shared.
Incredibly she found her way through the grief and found love again and you will be amazed at what was not on her wish list in a new partner! Melissa has found a new purpose and created a business ‘Filled With Gold’, providing care packages to widows specifically to support them with their own self care in mind.

Jan Canty has lived many people’s worst nightmare. Your husband fails to return home from work. You put it down to the storm raging outside, until you realise that something feels off. No one knows where he is, and the police, won’t treat his disappearance seriously. Days later, with media camped on your door step, homicide ring you and tell you they think your husband has been murdered. They have no body. Through their investigation, you find that your husband that you have loved and devoted years too, has been leading a double life, has indeed been murdered, and left you so broke you face homelessness. To make matters worse as a trained psychologist you blamed yourself for missing the signs.
It sounds like a plot of a movie but it was the reality that Jan Canty lived through. Jan now has her own podcast “The Domino Effect of Murder” to assist other ‘murder survivors’ and law enforcement in dealing with the fall out and the aftermath of a traumatic loss.
