Used in a variety of settings, including classrooms, trauma-informed schools, residential treatment centers, and homes, teachers, clinicians, and parents are consistently amazed and grateful for the simplicity and benefits of the approach and how comfortable they feel participating. She co-authored groundbreaking, published research on improv's effect on the brain and is featured in the documentary, “Act Social-Using: YES AND to Save the World from Within,” Psychology Today, and Forbes. Mary is a certified academic and special needs teacher
