Listeners, we're back this week with Gracie Laboy!
Gracie Laboy is a Latina R&B, Latin Pop singer-songwriter from Washington, D.C. Her classical technique and honest lyrics in pop and soul influenced-music bring rich tones and breathtaking emotion to her “soulful pop” songs. Her broad musical influences range from Rosalía to Ariana Grande to Amy Winehouse. After getting two Bachelor’s degrees from Stanford University and a Master’s degree from Berklee College of Music, Gracie worked in arts administration and marketing, and in 2019 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue music full time.
Outside of music, Gracie has continued to nurture her passion for travel and fitness, having already completed two Olympic distance triathlons, five half marathons, and one full marathon. And in the fall of 2016 she completed the Camino de Santiago, an 800km trek from France to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, in northwest Spain. She’s traveled to over 20 countries in 5 continents and is not stopping anytime soon.
