In this activity, an expert in nephrology discusses how racial disparities may impact the management of Black patients with anemia of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and how to address these disparities. Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: Identify the racial disparities that affect Black patients with anemia of CKD, leading to suboptimal outcomes; Recognize underlying factors contributing to racial disparities in the management of Black patients with anemia of CKD; and Outline strategies to improve the individualized treatment and management of anemia of CKD among Black patients.
