Sophia and Nick are back to discuss the Best Picture nominees of one of the best years in film of the 21st century, 2007. First, they travel back in time to the 80th Academy Awards and discuss Jon Stewart’s hosting gig and some of the most memorable moments from the ceremony (1:35).

They start off with the winner of the coin toss and Best Picture, No Country For Old Men (7:10). They share their thoughts on Javier Bardem’s clean sweep of the Best Supporting Actor category, the Coen Brothers’ filmography, and how they feel about it’s stellar performance at the Oscars. Then, they revisit the other nominees: the sweeping British period drama, Atonement (22:55), the quirky high school dramedy, Juno (34:19), the Clooney legal thriller, Michael Clayton (46:20), and Paul Thomas Anderson’s masterpiece of American cinema, There Will Be Blood (54:33).
