Off The Ball’s Rachel Sheehan and Stephen Gleeson were in Thurles for the All Ireland Senior Camogie semi-finals, as Cork and Galway booked their places in the All Ireland final, after beating Tipperary and Kilkenny respectively in front of a record crowd at Semple Stadium!
After the first game of the double header, Stephen spoke with Galway captain Carrie Dolan and manager Cathal Murray, as well as Kilkenny hurling legend and camogie selector Michael Walsh. Meanwhile, Rachel got the thoughts of Dublin legend Aisling Maher, and why Galway finished the game with just 14 players.
Then, following full time of the second semi-final, Stephen and Rachel caught up with Cork’s Aishling Thompson, Sorcha McCartan, Hayley Ryan and manager Ger Manley, as well as Tipperary manager James Heffernan. Rachel also got the post-match thought of Aisling Maher after another brilliant game of camogie!
