Acomi and Turk182 guzzle some Cadre Cola and send in their audition tapes for Climbing For Dollars just in time to catch the next episode of The Running Man (1987).

A classic late 80s sci-fi movie, loosely based on Stephen King's (under the pseudonym Richard Bachman) short story. Having been framed for a massacre he didn't commit, former corporate police soldier Ben Richards breaks out of prison, and is on the run. He's soon captured and coerced into starring on the violent, and mostly unwinnable, TV show The Running Man. If he survives, he'll be a free man. But, TV ratings aren't earned by people surviving, the corporation will do everything to make sure he dies with the highest ratings.

Join Acomi and Turk while they marvel and the 80s ladies and the over the top death sport villainy of "heroes". Not to mention, enough one-liners to make a whole other movie. Come on! Acomi and Turk don't want to be the only a-holes watching this movie.

Released in 1994 by Image comics, Doom's IV continues the adventures and perils of the characters Brick, Burn, Grimm, and Slyder. The IV are hunted by the Doom's Corporation for reasons yet to be explained, but maybe related to the superhuman abilities they have.

Doom's IV was a collaborative project between co-creator Rob Liefeld and director Steven Spielberg. Not just another movie adaptation of a comic book property. The Doom's IV origin movie was in the works before issue #1 of the ongoing series was released.

And, after praising the brilliance of Steven Spielberg, the two watch the demo reel for the unfinished Youngblood cartoon.

Acomi and Turk182 don't actually have to prepare for anything to ready themselves for an apocalypse that's a couple hundred thousand away from being an apocalypse. It's Cannibal Apocalypse (1980) starring John Saxon as a Vietnam vet that suffers from PTSD after being bitten by American soldiers he tried to rescue.

Turns out, these soldiers had been infected with a cannibal virus. The virus was passed along to him, but he's been able to fight it off. That is until, one of the soldiers is released from the mental hospital with a "No donkey brains" certificate. He quickly relapses and, along with his fellow soldier in captivity and Saxon, starts feasting and creating more cannibals; at least ten total. This time around, the revolution will be catered.

Join Acomi and Turk as they try to keep count of the ever growing cannibal army, and how poor a job the filmmakers did of trying to make Italy look like America.

Acomi and Turk182 ready themselves for a cinematic pairing 3-4 years in the making. A pairing no one really expected, or even says they thought about. The great Sybil "I turn boys to men" Danning and the unpredictable Wings "Gary who?" Hauser in L.A. Bounty (1989).

Sybil Danning wrote the story of a cop turned bounty hunter who is determined to get the drug dealing, crime boss that killed her partner.

After sadistic killer and drug kingpin, Cavanaugh, kidnaps a Los Angeles mayoral candidate, former police officer, Rutger, leverages the candidates wife to find Cavanagh and kill him for the execution of her partner. Devoid of any emotion but revenge, and very little to say, Rutger will use anybody she can to put Cavanaugh down.

Join Acomi and Turk as they delight in watching an excellent 80s bad action movie. Especially, when the on going side story pays off in the end.

Acomi and Turk182 once again, put on their leathers, strap on their helmets, and tighten their gloves for a post-apocalyptic motorcycle adventure. Warrior of the Lost World (1983) a.k.a. Mad Rider a.k.a. Vigilante of the Lost Earth a.k.a. Raiders of the Omega Year.

Another Italian low budget, Mad Max rip-off. But, this time the motorcycle has an intelligent (meh) computer program, Einstein, that can think (but, doesn't know what walls are). The rider and his bike are "persuaded" to help the oppressed people fight back against Prossor and the Omega; which has taken their freedom and emotions.
