This week I'm talking to Dr. Yvonne Kason about her book 'Soul Lessons from the Light: How Spiritually Transformative Experiences Changed my Life'.

Dr. Kason also shares the moving story of her miraculous brain-healing, and the 2019 STE that inspired her to found Spiritual Awakenings International®. This week the books I am reading from are 'The Book of Seances' by Claire Goodchild and 'The UFO Phenomenon: Should I Believe?' by Dr. Robert Davis.

Dr Robert Davis
THE EXTRAORDINARY SCIENCE OF CONSCIOUSNESS
What is consciousness? No one knows for sure. It’s a mystery of modern science. Yet, it’s one of the most profound questions confronting humanity. The study of consciousness, from research in biology, psychology, quantum theory, and parapsychology gives us some insight. But the true nature of human consciousness remains elusive. Join us as we explore this profound mystery and look to the world’s leading experts, who are searching for the answers to this “missing link” in the new docu-film, The Consciousness Connection.

Dr. Robert Davis is an internationally recognized scientist in his field. He graduated with a PhD in sensory neuroscience from the Ohio State University and served as a professor at the State University of New York for over 30 years. Davis has published over 60 articles in scholarly journals, lectured at numerous national and international conferences, and was awarded major grants by scientific organizations to fund research in the neurosciences. He is the author of two popular books: The UFO Phenomenon: Should I Believe? and Life after Death: An Analysis of the Evidence. He has discussed his work at conferences throughout the world and has appeared on many podcast and radio shows. Currently working with David Beaty producing and interviewing the world’s leading experts, who are searching for the answers to this “missing link” in the new docu-film, The Consciousness Connection.

Bio
I started Black and the Moon in 2011 because I felt there was a lack of stylish and unique decks on the market, and I wanted my readings to be enhanced by the artwork that I love. I knew if I was feeling this way, other people must be to!

My first project was the Antique Anatomy Tarot, which was completed in 2013, and it quickly became a staple in the indie market (now mass-market by Quarto). This love for creating has led me to design many more oracle decks such as the Arcana of Astrology - the first astrology based deck on the market, the Compendium of Constellations, The Oracle of Oddities, and my newest creation Memento Mori.

Throughout this journey I have been lucky enough to have my work be featured in many publications like FLARE magazine, American Express, BT Toronto, Refinery29, Urban Outfitters, and Candis UK. In 2016 I was the recipient of the Etsy Canada Award for the Paper and Illustration category, which was a huge honour as I had been a shopper there for years!

This week the books I am reading from are 'Stories from The Messengers: Accounts of Owls, UFOs and a Deeper Reality' by Mike Clelland and 'Mysterious Messages from Beyond' by Von Braschler.

Von Braschler
What or who is communicating with you from beyond the veil? This study of mysterious communications offers a contrast of classic stories of phantom calls to newer, personal stories that will both haunt and intrigue. The analysis examines thought forms, thought power, and heightened consciousness, and suggests exercises for developing more acute hearing of subtle sounds and voices. It considers the many silent messages that might be directed at you from angels to guardian spirits, lost pets, or loved ones miles away. Examples of mysterious messages received on phone lines or otherwise are described in real-life stories. People who learned to listen have discovered that voices from beyond don't have to be frighteningsometimes they just want to say goodbye. What will you discover when you learn to listen?

Bio
Von Braschler is the author of several books that explore expanding human consciousness. He served on the faculty of the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, New York, and has led workshops throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. He has appeared on national radio as well as television. He hosted a popular podcast, Healing with Your Pet: Our Psychic, Spirit Connection, for four years, with many episodes still available online in various venues.
One of his earlier books, Confessions of a Reluctant Ghost Hunter, was a runner-up finalist for a COVR national book award.

Mike Clelland
This is a companion to the groundbreaking ideas that began with Mike Clelland's earlier book, The Messengers. It is a further exploration into the connection, both symbolic and literal, between owls and UFOs. There is a strangeness to these accounts that defies any simple explanation.
Each chapter tells a deeply personal story where these mysterious experiences are explored in depth. The book reads like a collection of short stories. The ancient mythology of the owl is repeating itself within the modern UFO report. What plays out is a journey of transformation, with an owl at the heart of each story.

Bio
Mike Clelland's 2015 book, The Messengers, was met with high praise. In it he explores the mysterious connection between owls, synchronicities, and UFO abduction. It was his first-hand experiences with these elusive events that have been the foundation for his research. The book is also a personal memoir, and a journey of self discovery.

Erin Montgomery
'Dirty Little Secret: Confessions of an Alien Contactee'.
Some experiences in life can leave an impression that effect a person on such a deep level that they are forever changed. Some people have these life changing experiences over and over again. And sometimes these experiences cause problems in their lives like difficulty sleeping, feelings of panic, seemingly irrational fears, and even believing they may be going crazy. Erin Montgomery is such a person, and with her training in the counseling field, has been able to unravel some of the mysteries in her own life that have contributed to Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Risking her career and job, friendships, and family relationships, Erin explores her past as an alien contactee, her abduction memories, and how this phenomenon has brought her to understand her place in this world and others.

Bio
Erin Montgomery is at least a 4th generation UFO contactee. She began experiencing strange phenomena as early as 7 years old and has been able to retrieve some of those memories through hypnotic regression in order to help relieve some of the trauma that was created by those early encounters with alien beings. She continues to have UFO and paranormal experiences throughout her life and currently is not only working as a shaman to help heal people energetically, unhaunt houses, work with spirits and read people's cards, she is also learning how to do hypnotic regressions to help others who have suffered as she has. During the day she works as a clinical therapist in the not-so-surprising location of Roswell, New Mexico. In the evenings she can be found working with others on a spiritual level, writing new material, or working to engage more direct contact with beings not of this world!

This week the books I am reading from are 'God Took My Clothes'. By David Suich and
'SKY CRASH - THROUGHOUT TIME: UFOs, The Reptilian Man & Strange Mysteries Surrounding Rendlesham.' by Philip Kinsella and Brenda Butler

David Suich 'God Took My Clothes'

What happens when we die? Is it the end of existence or is there something more? Thanks to advances in modern medicine and some miraculous recoveries, there are thousands of people who have died, seen the afterlife, and returned. God Took My Clothes summarizes the lessons learned from 12 years of near death experience research as well as the testimonies of over 700 people who have died in various ways, returned, and talked about the afterlife. Their incredible testimonies reveal a non-judgmental creator of light and infinite love beyond what human language is capable of describing. God Took My Clothes discusses what if feels like to die, the life review, the environments of Heaven and Hell, God's view of religion, the nature of our existence, humanity's future, and the importance of living life with love and compassion. This book presents the hidden truth. Death is no different than waking up from a dream. You cannot die.

Bio:
David Suich is a retired engineer and certified spiritual counselor who founded and operated Steps of Hope Outreach, a nonprofit organization that served orphanages in Nepal, Mexico, and Haiti from 2003 through 2018. During a painful and chronic physical condition that triggered severe depression, he clicked on a YouTube video about an atheist who died momentarily and saw Heaven. This led him on a 14-year journey of research into near death experiences including the testimonies of over 1000 people who have died, seen the afterlife, and returned.

Philip Kinsella'SKY CRASH THROUGHOUT TIME: UFOs, the Reptilian Man & Strange Mysteries Surrounding Rendlesham.’

Anyone remotely interested within the UFO field of investigations is aware of the famous 1980 Rendlesham event which occurred in Suffolk and known as ‘Britain’s Roswell’ over the Christmas period, and whereby members of the US military centred at the twin bases of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge had been in direct contact with objects seemingly not from this world. Little is known about the impending research which Brenda Butler, Dot Street and Jenny Randles had eventually published in ‘SKY CRASH: A Cosmic Conspiracy’ back in 1984 by Neville Spearman Ltd and of the many problems they’d had in getting their story out. What’s even more startling is that Rendlesham was no stranger to UFO activity, and the 1980 event was not the first of its kind. Incidents witnessed by locals had been occurring before and well after the initial encounter with many of the military troops stationed at the twin bases. Brenda Butler teamed up with author and UFO investigator, Philip Kinsella, to put her story across, and of the strange experiences she’d had.

What of the Reptilian man who was wanted by higher officialdom, and who’d also gained access to some of the world’s top UFO investigators and senior military officials? Why did their book ‘Sky Crash: A Cosmic Conspiracy’ suffer through the onslaught of bad publicity by nameless, faceless bureaucrats? And why did the initial encounter with the military propel Brenda into a strange world where fate, it would seem, was to play its hand. Learn how Philip Kinsella’s experiment worked in summoning a UFO within the forest and of the subsequent research he has also amassed. ‘Sky Crash - Throughout Time’ reveals these and many other mysteries surrounding England’s most controversial UFO case.

Bio
Philip Kinsella is an Author, a UFO researcher, an abduction experiencer. He is a psychic medium and clairvoyant. He co-hosts a radio show with his twin on the Paranormal UK Radio Network, called ‘TWIN SOULS,’ which is broadcast monthly.

This week the books I am reading from are 'The Light After Death: My Journey To Heaven and Back'. By Vincent Tolman and 'Book of Secrets: Aliens, Ghosts and Ancient Mysteries' by Brian Allan.

Vincent Tolman 'The Light After Death: My Journey To Heaven and Back'.
Have you ever asked yourself, "What happens after we die?" Vincent was taken by Death. He was dead for a full 30 minutes. Did he see a bright light? What does heaven look like? What Does one feel when their heart stops beating? Are you embraced by the light?
True account of life after death and touching heaven that is guaranteed to change your perspective on the meaning and purpose of life.

In The Light After Death, the writer's account of his ordeal, told from the perspective of somebody who was dead but came back to life. From someone who experienced afterlife firsthand, learned about what lies beyond the threshold for those who are willing to open their mind.
Vincent Tolman was found dead in the bathroom of a small restaurant. He had been dead for over half an hour at the age of 25. When paramedics arrived, they put him in a body bag and took him away. A rookie paramedic had a feeling to risk his career, break all protocols, and try to resuscitate him. Miraculously, he restarted Vincent's heart, but Vincent was in a coma for three days. Brian Allan 'BOOK OF SECRETS: Aliens, Ghosts and Ancient Mysteries'.
In ‘Book of Secrets: Aliens, Ghosts and Ancient Mysteries’, the internationally acknowledged paranormal researcher and editor of Phenomena Magazine, Brian Allan, presents many of the puzzles and enigmas that have confronted the human race since the beginning of time. The author considers everything from the Vimanas in ancient India that seem to have been flying war machines, to what actually occurred at the now apparently abandoned base at Montauk. He also seeks the truth about just who did build the pyramids, could we really be descended from ancient Martians, and are the two connected? He also asks who were The Watchers, are they connected to the Nephilim and is time travel even possible? Are UFOs and ET’s actually demonic in nature and what really lies hidden in the Vatican’s Secret Archives? All this and much, much more is examined in the pages of this book.

Bio
About the Author: Hello, my name is Brian Allan and I was born in early March 1944, which makes me a Pisces, and I have had an abiding interest in paranormal and occult phenomena in all their varied forms for as long as I can remember. Although I have experienced strange and unusual encounters from a very early age, I had initially confined my interest in the subject to a passive role involving studying the subject via books etc, and it is only in the past thirty years or so that I actually became involved in a 'hands on' basis.

During this relatively short period of time I have been privileged to meet some genuinely fascinating and spiritual people and witness at first hand some truly wondrous sights. Many people have asked if I have ever encountered anything truly paranormal, like have I ever seen a UFO, or have I ever seen a ghost, the answer to both these questions is 'yes', I have, and in the case of ghosts more than once. In the course of my investigations, initially with Strange Phenomena Investigations (SPI), and latterly with Paranormal Encounters Group (PEG) a group which is co-run with my wife, Ann, I have investigated hauntings, poltergeist infestations, possessions, UFO encounters and sightings, claims of alien abduction, in fact the entire spectrum of events that take place across the psychic battlefield, and on occasion it is indeed a battlefield. In almost all of these investigations, what the people involved experienced was, to them at least, absolutely real and in no case did any of them lie about what they encountered, indeed some of them were absolutely terrified and that is understandable. Happily, in almost all of these instances I am delighted to say that at the very least we were able to bring a measure of help and relief to those affected, and fortunately were able to resolve the problems.

In addition to this, while involved with these cases I have been privileged to work and associate with some of the most talented, sensitive and gifted people it is possible to meet. They are the incredibly sensitive individuals who regularly bridge the narrow divide between the normal and the paranormal; they are the mediums and psychics without whom much of what I have seen and done would not be possible. As a result of these events and encounters I have reached certain conclusions based, not on ideas derived from other people's accounts but, instead, from hard-won first hand experience. It is these experiences that have allowed me to draw some conclusions that do not meet with the approval of, what shall I call them, hard core 'enthusiasts', particularly in the field of Ufology, who can see no further than their own, narrow, blinkered paradigm. Indeed it is something of a contradiction to note that, given the very nature of the phenomenon, those who should be the most receptive to different viewpoints are frequently the most narrow minded, dogmatic and defensive. The conclusions I have reached are varied and what follows is not by any means an exhaustive list. I say this because, in my opinion it does not have to be because a powerful common thread joins almost all of the conclusions.
